[audio] [the Game has Changed] - Ninth Transmission
[The initial assessment of the situation hadn't taken long. No guards, a strange place - this wasn't the mine he'd made into his home, not in the least - a small winged lizard creeled at him and then vanished into thin air. His shotgun on a table, with a holster. That was handy. The remnants of a life that apparently just left like the organic sitting strewn about.
Then, there was the communication network. He studied it for a good, long while. Someone here bore a face that was and wasn't his. And they were revolting.
Measures needed to be taken.
The Link transmission opens with a sharp electronic pop, and the voice on the other end is Barricade's, but rougher and colder.]
This is the Lord High Protector. Any Decepticons within transmission range - I require a sitrep on the current location and your status. I also require the last known whereabouts of the imposter Barricade.
I should not have to remind you that you ignore these orders at your own peril. By the Allspark, I shall feed you to the Autobots myself if you fail me.
That is all.
[The transmission cuts out immediately after. Anyone in Solus Prime's temple might catch sight of the 'Lord High Protector' in the halls, though. Barricade, though not with the face he was upgraded to... and without legs, wheeling himself through the halls in a battered chair, now-holstered shotgun slung across the back.]

[Though if you're in the temple, she might go ahead and find you anyway.]
This is most unlike you.
[Audio]
I will be visiting no medbays; I am in my normal state and have no time for this.
[You'll never take him alive DX]
[Audio]
If you will not come to me, then I will come to you.
[Audio]
In either case I wouldn't suggest attempting to find me. It would end unfortunately.
[Audio]
Very well, have it your way.
[She turns off her link calmly and walks over to examine her tranquilizers. For the job at hand, she might need more than one of these... hm...
Just you wait Barricade, she'll find out what's wrong with you.]
[Audio]
Anyone coming after him is going to find him a lot more dangerous than any wheelchair-bound mech has a right to be.]
[Audio]
But her rocket launcher is back in her room. She'd have to make a quick detour to get it. Does she intend to use it on Barricade? She doesn't know, but it definitely doesn't hurt to have one around.
Once she's armed with her tranquilizers and rocket launcher, Red Alert heads to her destination, stepping out into a hallway a short distance from Barricade.]
There you are.
[Says the little bot with a rocket launcher.]
[Action]
[The name had told him nothing; it wasn't familiar to him. But the appearance said a great deal more. She wasn't of a model he recognized, but the Autobot logo on her sideskirts told Barricade all he needed to know. The rocket launcher doesn't help his opinion.
He leans back in the wheelchair, the gears in one shredded knee sparking as he reflexively attempts to raise a leg that isn't there. Barricade doesn't seem to notice or care though, rotating out both rifles in his arms and reconfiguring one shoulder into a missile launcher of his own.]
And there you are.
[Pardon him while he opens fire on you.]
[Action]
Still, he was obviously dangerous and she needed to find a way to fix him. If that meant breaking him a little, then so be it.
She fires her weapon and immediately drops it to run towards him, pulling out her bottle of tranquilizer and inserting it into her interlink apparatus. She just has to get close enough to jam it in and then...]
