[video] - transmission from near the tunnel in Solus' Quadrant
[The light as the feed comes on to show Elita's smiling - if badly lit - faceplates is a faint but intense blue, disappearing the light of her optics and highlighting the visible part of her pink frame in a blue glow. She also looks strangely reflective at the moment. Wet, almost.]
I've been exploring the buildings around the temples I think a wave of refugees that were here before us have made, since they don't exactly match up with the style, sophistication or methods used by the Firstforged.
[Yes, she could tell this; reconnesaince should be used for something while not in a combat or search and rescue/kill situation, right?]
And I think anyone of the mechanoid persuasion will like what I've found so far. [Her grin widens and she zooms out a bit, but the view doesn't get much more clearer; there's faint wisps of steam around her, but by now it's obvious some of the glow is actually... some sort of liquid gathering and sliding off her frame.
Also, the transmission now includes three sets of coordinates; one belonging to a building at the bottom of a crater in Nexus Prime's Quadrant, one for a set of buildings on one of the balcony terraces halfway down Liege Maximo's mountain, and the last for wherever Elita is, which happens to be somewhere off the tunnel that leads to Solus Prime's temple; a side-tunnel someone utilized in some way.]
The coordinates lead to washracks. [Her grin widens, pleased but also relaxed.] All three of them are somewhat different from eachother, so I think they've been made by mechs from... ah... different realities? [A small shrug, and there's a splash of liquid of some sort accompanying the movement.]
They all work, but there's nothing else but the basic set-up, so no mesh cloths, no wax, no polish or anything else. The only thing I haven't been able to find is if there's any cleaning facilities for the organics among us, but I'm... hardly suited to explore any human-sized spaces if there were.
[She pauses, frowning and then shrugs again, then slides down a bit.]
But I'd think, since humans seem to need water a lot, the best bet would be close to any of the frozen pools around Liege Maximo's temple, or surrounding the lakes in Alpha Trion's.
[Now excuse her as she goes back to soaking in this mineral-infused energon pool.]

[He's crushed. See this face? It is the face of a crushed lasercore.]
There's a whole planet left! And I wanted this to be a surprise for people, you included.
[She grins, then, and flicks some energon on the screen before wiping it off.]
Besides, I haven't explored all of the quadrants, or even all of the buildings. I'm sure we can find more things.
Oh? [Well then. His mechly ego is soothed. ] Consider me surprised, then.
You might want, you know, someone with a bit of muscle before you start exploring buildings. [SO SUBTLE.]
It was more amusing to make a big reveal than let the information trickle around and maybe missing someone. [And well... she wanted these wonderful energon pools to herself, just for one good soak.] And consider me pleased.
I suppose I could use someone with more raw strength than I, if some mechanism has rusted closed.
[She tilts her helm, smile still about her lips, though she actually means it precisely like that; she knows her own limits.]
You are, of course, welcome to join me if you like, though I'm wondering if I should've kept the location of this place to myself for a bit longer.
[She's not serious of course; one extra place to get clean for everybody overode her urge to keep a bit of luxury for herself.]
It was [Ahem] quite a revelation. Yeah. I don't think anyone missed that. kinda hard to miss.
[Oh, yeah, like Springer's going to turn down a chance to impress a lady with his buffness.]
[He gives a saucy wink. He's such a sly dog.] Yeah, well there is something to be said for a little privacy.

You...Mind if I ask you something? [It might not be an awkward subject to others, but Slipstream's awkward about asking.]
[And of course she shared them. What else should she do? She can't use all three alone at the same time anyway. Though maybe she should've kept the one located in Solus' Quadrant for herself for a bit...]
Of course. [Elita shrugs, settling herself against the edge of the pool, the arm not holding her screen resting up on the edge.]
[She's tempted to ask if bathing is not a private activity; if there's anything about it in the data from her creator, she hasn't consciously accessed it. Elita doesn't act like it should be. So, Slipstream sticks to her planned question.]
It's apparent to us, here, there are many universes. You come from a different one. Is it very common for a bot to be "she" there?
The crater this building's at the bottom of doesn't have any frozen water in it, but I did see some other ones who did.
[Slipstream would be welcome to ask, if she wanted to... Since to Elita, there's a difference between sharing cleaning and sharing just a bath. And she's technically not even sharing the latter with anyone yet, being alone at the moment.]
No, it's not. [There's a little huff, but it's more thoughtful than exasperated.] As far as I know, I've met no one else who does in my... universe, though that might be just choice, or because I've not met a large amount of people.
[She shrugs, and then tilts her helm at the screen.]
Any particular reason?

Re: [Video]

So someone built... car washes?
While I... suppose you could be in altmode while using the washracks, especially if you've got someone to help you, that's not really what they're designed for... Especially since it'd be impractical, what with the variety of altmodes around.
[So that question has her seriously bewildered. Car washes, really?]
Re: [Video]
Oh! So it's more like a shower then!
[She shrugs, then taps her chin.]
And I've seen some variability I didn't expect in the washracks I found, so the only thing I can think of is that it works slightly different in each reality cybertronians are from.
This is indeed very useful. Especially if we ever have a scraplet infestation on our hands.
Well, while I think it'd probably be more useful to jump in the lakes in Alpha Trion's Quadrant if we ever get attacked by scraplets, it certainly is.
[She'll just... settle against the edge, chin propped up by her free hand, and the wisps of vapour both obscuring angles and curves as well as highlighting the viisble part of her frame.]
Takes a while to get dirty, but I was certainly starting to feel it... And if I was, I'm sure others are as well.
Re: [video]
I wasn't aware of any bodies of water near Trion's quadrant. But then again, I haven't really explored much of this place.
[Oh, not far, now you got him clearing his vocalizer and looking away.] Right. I think my paintjob is actually started to flake away, faster than usual. [He's got one big splotch of purple on his chest; pay no mind to that, either.] Should keep this place in mind for the future.
There's quite a few, and the humans are working on a... garden? around there for that purpose.
[That makes her frown a bit, but he looks like he's okay, so she'll let it slide. For now.]
But shouldn't... Ah... Does, er... Is it actual paint, or do you just not like your original colouring? [It might be rude to ask, but she was rather surprised at the "paintjob" comment. It's a bit hard to miss the spot, as well as all the others, but she merely notes the ones she can see and guesses what his "actual" colour should be.]
It's very nice... This is the only place with energon pools. They're even heated.
[She hums, pleased, and slides down a bit, energon sliding up into view at the bottom of the screen forming up around the bottom curve of her chestplates.]
I was considering keeping this place for myself for a while, but that'd be rude... So you're certainly free to come if you feel like it.

That sure is...a lovely view.
In more ways that one.]
...I haven't seen -one of those in vorns. That is an amazing find, Elita.
[He smiles; Optimus can play it cool, even if his engine temperature has spiked the slightest bit.]
no subject
It is, and it's feeling just as amazing as it was to find them.
[She smiles back easily, relieved he's back to... normal, as she knows it. Of course with the effects of the pages rectified, there's no reason he wouldn't be, but still.]
The best thing is, all three locations are large, so we don't have to fight...
[She pauses, smile deepening as she leans back against the edge, the energon hiding some of the curve of her chestplates.]
Well, maybe there'd still be fights over the pools, since while they can hold several average-sized mechs, there's not a very large number of them.
no subject
[A very long while ago. Long enough to forget how nice it is... But he still remembers.
Many of those memories involve Elita too.]
I would hope no one would start fights over this, of course.
[Especially for that pool...]
We're all going to have to learn to get along here if we want to survive. These sorts of comforts might be few and far between.
no subject
[Elita snorts at first; no reason to fight over this. Waste of energy. At the end, she's grinning slightly, though she's thinking of the Ultra Magnus she knows, and not the one that's here.]
As long as we don't go and destroy this and the other two locations, they'll be easy enough to use, and if it was that long ago you were in one... Why not come?
[The offer is both from simple hospitality; this is just her find, not "hers", and from curiosity, something of a wish to see if they can get less... awkward.]

OHTHISISGREAT I've been trying to keep my gears clean that's key if i want to keep my speed but I was starting to get irritated by the dirt.
no subject
Blurr does have his priorities straight.]
It certainly is. I'm not overly concerned about looks, and Cybertron is hardly an organic planet [even with the earth and the garden around Alpha Trion's temple] but there's still some buildup and it was starting to get annoying.
[Elita laughs, dipping her hand into the energon - barely in view near the edge of the frame - to move it around lazily.]
If you want to see what you're doing, the washracks at Liege Maximo's have the most complete lightning, but if you want a good soak... you'll have to come here.
no subject
He tries~]
I don't really care about looks either but dirt dents and scratches on the surface of my aft increase air resistant NOT to mention that I need to make sure my joins are free from anything that could get stuck in there and overheat when I run.
Maintenance is key. Dirt is terrible.
If I need extra light I can always turn on my headlights...OHHH can I come, really?
[He looks so happy with the idea. This is probably the most cheerful he had been in weeks.]
no subject
I've been picking out scrap a few times out of my joints over the last few orns, and it would have been a lot easier with either access to washracks, or extra lubricant.
[Sigh. Who knew basic supplies would be hard to come by, even if they technically have all the resources and materials around here? It still needs to be made.
She chuckles and nods.]
Of course. I hardly own the place, and there's more than one pool, though all of them can hold more than one mech of average height.
