[Voice/video] Interrupting your daily Glyphless shenanigans....

[The transmission starts with silence, then a muffled humming and finally a male voice speaks. It's quite the attractive voice, but it sounds like he’s trying to control his annoyance and failing.]

There's a moment in your life when you say to yourself ‘things can't possibly get better’…[By his tone of voice, it’s clear that he's being sarcastic.] …and then the universe proves you wrong. A new Cybertron, uh hum… I’ve heard that before. Really charming.

[>Suddenly, video! Enjoy the view of a cherry red robot with no visible faction symbol on him, sneering at the camera.]

I want to know who thought it would be a good idea to mess with my chassis and give me that horrid tattoo, of all things. [Tattoo, glyph, practically the same thing. Knock out didn’t really pay much attention to the acolyte, he had other things to focus on than a new planet. Like his paintjob.]

We should have a talk. [There’s a clear promise of pain in that last sentence as he waves a hand with very large, very pointy, claws. ]

[hums] Your planet is interesting, but I can't help but feel it sometimes seem to make no logical sense. [Fourth walling with the obvious lack of logic in TF? Maybe.]

Well, it's... how we evolved. You know. We don't usually have to worry about apex predators or giant alien robots, so our skin doesn't need to be as thick as armor, and much more. Though, yes, it can be easily damaged. But that doesn't mean it's not capable of some remarkable work. Besides, you may just see a thin coat of flesh, but we've layers of flesh - such as the epidermis, dermis, and so on - and muscle beneath.

[She sits forward] Here's a factoid for you: Human flesh is comprised of about one point six trillion cells - well, depending on the person. Every hour, humans shed up to thirty or forty thousand cells. These cells replace themselves to form new skin. So, essentially, we change skin pretty much constantly - in a month, we'd have a new [finger quotes] "skin job", just about. In a year, a human sheds up to eight pounds of cells!

That pretty much means our living quarters are layered with old, dead skin cells. [snrk] Glad you can't see them with the human eye!

[My, don't we have taste.]

Impressive.

[Cylas pauses for a moment, fighting through that strange haze that clouds his mind. Oh he knows this person. He remembers perfectly well.

And now he has the advantage.
]

Well, well...

Greetings, doctor.

This!

[And he transforms.]

[A grin spreads across the familiar face. It's certainly not like any grin Breakdown has ever used, but it is still Breakdown's face all the same...]

Perseverance. Someone wants me alive.

[He lowers his voice until it's a close mimic of Breakdown's deep tones. Cylas wants to see how strongly his would-be killer reacts.]

Kinda unexpected, eh Knock Out?

Why don't you come to me and find out for yourself.

... No. There's some Vehicons though.

[That reaction is promising. Cylas keeps his "Breakdown" voice and continues, pushing for more reaction. Hoping that soon the medic will give in to his anger. That is what he'd do with any human, and Cylas has figured out by now that they are not so different.

Except, perhaps, Cylas has an edge.
]

Ah yes, with you the fun never stops!

Though I must admit, Breakdown's company has always been a little more... interesting in comparison. Poor boy just couldn't keep his head in the end.

[He smiles. This time it's lopsidedness seem more... Breakdown. Almost seems genuine. This small familiarity is still offset by the unnatural optics and slowly rusting metal.]

You had feelings for Breakdown, didn't you, doctor?

[She's come to realize that most males around here haven't seen a fem bot before. It's been entertaining for her.]

Liege Maximo.

So does someone with a handsome face like yours have a name, or should I make one up?
drpaperairplanesmd: (disheveled!)

[Martha scratches her head] Yeah, I can get a little ramble-y.

And, well... As doctors, it's sort of our job to try and make sense of things? At least medically. I mean, the driving curiosity can be overwhelming.
treacherous_widow: (Yes I know I look good.)

[personal profile] treacherous_widow 2012-12-09 10:50 pm (UTC)(link)
[Don't give her a reason to and she won't try and kill either of you.]

Interesting.

[Smirks.]

Knock out huh? The name fits.

Call me Blackarachnia.
