[Melan hesitates a few seconds. Does that thing even work?]

They... look like me, except red and pink for Eryun, silver and black for Pyon. They were with me just before I was sent here... As was the Monomakia attacking us. The... civilians? amongst you, be careful, that creature is really agressive. For the others, just aim for the eyes.

[The metal creature had assured him he wasn't the only one able to fight here. With a little luck, the rogue experiment would be killed soon and his duty would be fulfilled.]

I don't know any other word than "Monomakia" for it too, so don't be sorry. You are the first "robot with a heart" I meet. The other robots on the Network, are they like you? You look different, but all of you are made of metal.

[His expression flickers. It's almost a smile.]

I know where Prima's temple is. If you step outside, I can find it, easily enough.

Having help is good. It means you have comrades, and they are important. It's better to have friends, though. [The starving comment has him frowning, but he doesn't ask. If food is in short supply, he might be in trouble.] Nobody can survive only on his own.

There are some here, that are my friends. It's difficult to find them, but I have a few.

[It will probably take him closer to five minutes. The Police Headquarters isn't far from Prima's temple.]

[He'll land outside the temple, folding his wings as he touches down. He's not terribly big by robot standards, only 17 feet or so.]

Yes. Really often. Even if you are really powerful, they always save you.

[Melan has been busy buzzing around, exploring the entrance of the temple when he heard a sound, like Pyon or himself landing, and went to investigate.]

[He does look back. His scanner -- in the "patch" over one optic -- flashes several times as he watches. But if this stranger isn't mechanical, there won't be any data for him to gather. Spy systems or no.]

Then you may have a problem, here. There are far more robots in this place than human beings. Or anything else with data like that.

[He ducks his head. And his wings fold closer to his body.]

I haven't seen a human be hurt by any of the alien robots, no. They seem to be careful... for the most part.
