They... look like me, except red and pink for Eryun, silver and black for Pyon. They were with me just before I was sent here... As was the Monomakia attacking us. The... civilians? amongst you, be careful, that creature is really agressive. For the others, just aim for the eyes.

[The metal creature had assured him he wasn't the only one able to fight here. With a little luck, the rogue experiment would be killed soon and his duty would be fulfilled.]

I don't know why they would, but they did. I don't really know what the "police" in the funny world does, but they don't protect people. They attacked people and hurt Marin. [And after a few seconds.] They shot me, too.

They aren't like that, here. They're the ones who stopped Overlord from killing more robots. From... hurting anyone else.

[Melan stares. Just STARE. For a few seconds. Then he tilts his head on the side.]

It's... impressive. [The Knight floats close, gently poking the red beak with his sword.] And you can change form at will?
[He is almost jealous.]

[Melan's wings flicker. The Knight is honestly puzzled, and he doesn't really see where the problem is.]

[He changes back to his robot form, as there's... more expression that way. Only to shrug.]

[He shakes his head.]

I don't know if they programmed adapting. Maybe they didn't. [If he wasn't meant to adapt then... well. That would explain a lot.]

Are "they" always right? They are humans, right? Humans are flawed and it's what makes them unique. But it means that they can do mistakes.

[Melan is still frowning, unable to understand Kagerou's doubts. The robot can feel, or at least it seems so, so he has a soul. Period.]

It looks like you have adapted well enough. You have friends here, after all.

They might be wrong. Nobody is right all the time. The may have made a mistake about you and thought you didn't have a soul when you have one.

But in the end, you are the only one who can be judge of that. Do you want to have a soul or not? Only you know the answer of that question.
