☄ [Video] :: Location - Alpha Trion's Quadrant: Farming Area

[The boy can be seen scattering crumbs to the new residents at the farm, namely three chickens and a rooster. They've all got colored bows on them for some reason- pink, blue, green and yellow.

Laughing as he watches the chickens near, he squats down, scooping another handful of food in his hand to hold out to them. Nearby, the rooster patrols, picking at the bits on the ground occasionally as he keeps an eye on Ventus.]

There ya go, Flora, Fauna. Ack! Heheh, hey, watch the fingers, Merriweather!

[He stands again, glancing over at the rooster.]

Aw, don't be like that, Lea. There's plenty for you too, you know.

[UP UP AND AWAAAAAAAAAAAAAY.]

[Salute!]

Okay- see you!

[Since he can fly... it really won't take him long to get out there, circling until he spies the area from Ventus' video feed.]

[And then it's touchdown time.]

[Ventus is busy trying not to get pecked by Lea when he glances up.]

Whoa!

[Once he's landed, he just sort of... awkwardly stands there.]

[The chickens scatter briefly, but they don't take long to poke out of the makeshift coop Ventus has made for them, strutting about and picking at the ground to continue their meal.

The boy grins and runs up to Kagerou.]

I don't think I've ever seen you fly before!

You haven't...?

[He kneels, as the boy approaches. Just like with Kay.]

I thought everyone had.

Nope! Maybe we can fly around together some time!

[He smiles- then blinks.] Oh right! The chickens!

[Turning, he sets his hands on his knees, trying to call them over.]

Flora! Fauna! Merriweather! ...aw come on, guys.

[The boy watches them scratch at the ground pointlessly for food that's no longer there. Remembering he has some left in his pocket, he slips his hand in and out, producing the kernels to toss in front of him.]

Okay, there we go.

You fly?

[Then he goes very still and silent, as the boy does his best to summon the birds.]

[Wow. They sure are... odd looking. Then again, he's used to seeing pigeons and seagulls. Not chickens.]

... Why don't they fly?

Well, not by myself, anyway. But my Keyblade can change into a glider.

[He manages to scoop up one of the chickens, who only protests mildly before settling in his arms.]

Shh, it's okay Merriweather.

Um.

[He looks back at Kagerou.]

I don't think they can fly.

It transforms?

[Never mind he's not even entirely sure what a 'keyblade' is.]

[He leans in, peering closer at the bird. His scanner flashes a few times, studying it.]

But they're birds. Aren't they?

Yeah! I can show you later, if you want.

[He tilts his head, watching Kagerou curiously.]

Pretty sure they are. I guess not all birds fly, even though they have wings? But then when you look at them, they don't really look...built for flying.

All right.

[He... also tilts his head. Like a bird. Though, considering what he turns into, that's not entirely surprising.]

But... birds are meant to fly. That's what makes them birds.
