[Drift's been running a perimeter of the Badlands for a few days now, on the lookout for Megatron's mysterious attacker, as he'd promised. It's been...good, getting away, and just lapping miles under his wheels, in that almost zen-like focus of driving. And it's given him an idea.]

You know what this place needs? [He is excited so he will just rush to the answer.]

It needs a good race track. Not one of those just...oval things, but a fun one, with sharp turns and slopes and different surfaces. Like rallycross, on Earth.

Anyone want to help?

As long as anything was built outside of the quadrant, he'd have no reason to protest, though getting past the mountains would be an issue for most of us...

[Building a race track inside Haven would of course be the "easiest" but noise and taking into account any given Firstforged made that trickier...]

I suppose it'd be a question weighing between ease of accessibility and closeness to any already-existing facilities, which would make inside the Haven and in any quadrant close to a washrash better, and not disturbing any surroundings, and ease of accessibility with that inform where outside the Haven it should be built in that case...

And I don't really know enough about building and engineering, but it might be easier to build up around any possible track, than take away and level surroundings for it.

[Following her initial encounter with what she had believed to be a Sentinel outside the strange fortress, X-23 had utilized the caverns and tunnels in the cold mountains to stay hidden as others searched for her. She remained tucked far out of sight for the first few days, especially while she had been attempting to remove her glyph marking forcefully to no avail. Her attention to that marking only waned once she came to the tentative conclusion that it holds no tracking properties based on the fact that she had managed to remain undetected while other presences passed without noticeable pause.]

[Now, after what she can only estimate to have been a full week of remaining loose, she is seeking other shelter beyond the mountains within what those of the Haven know as the wastelands. While the ice had sufficed for gathering water, she needs to find food. The combination of the cold, intermittent intense physical activity, healing her arm, and her naturally elevated basal metabolic rate had burned through her energy reserves.]

[With one arm loosely wrapped over her abdomen and the other down at her side, X-23 walks through the open expanse between rock formations. Every breath she draws is monitored for some sign of life, something that might lead her to a place that could provide sustenance. In the barren mountains where the air had been so cold, she had been unable to detect definite scents, and now, she’s looking for anything.]

[Ratchet grits his jaw. He doesn't actually want to get in the way of their fun (because Primus knows, they get so little of it, sometimes), but he also doesn't want anyone getting mangled...]

Well. I don't think I'll be able to stop you in the face of all this excitement, but at least make sure that one of the medics knows when races are going to be happening. That way if something does happen, we'll be able to see to it sooner than later.

And you already know, of course, that if you end up injured, I'm going to be on your aft until I'm assured that you're properly repaired.

I think building up might be a problem because ground settles. Like after a rain. The last thing we want is a ramp to collapse.
