This Six calling White Knight requesting pickup. Repeat, this is Six calling White Knight requesting pickup.

Current coordinates unknown. Will need to triangulate based on my signal.

Warning: There are biomechanical hostiles in the area. I repeat, there are biomechanical hostiles in the--

[There's the sound of metal striking metal just before the feed ends. Any attempt to triangulate the source of the signal will pinpoint it to just outside Vector Prime's temple in the Haven.]

Who you calling 'hostile'?

[Whirl? You callin' Whirl hostile? He hasn't even warmed up yet!]

[Six manages to answer as he's holding back one of the centipede-like things with a magnablade shoved in its mandibles.]

...I was referring to these.

[And kicks it off before it can start nomming on his sword.]

Eh. 'Hostile' is kind of an overstatement. Kind of go more with 'stupid' and 'annoying' myself.

They can't hear you.

[Sorry to break the bad news. He's wondering why the Acolytes didn't explain, or at least offer protection, but that's a secondary consideration, right now.]

[ Saber knew not this newcomer, or how skilled he was, but it seemed many people here were surprisingly talented and often didn't need help. And as a fighter, she knew it could be offensive to have someone suddenly appear and helping you when you have everything under control. It could throw off your rhythm, after all. ]

And I'm afraid that if you are requesting a pick up from your home world, it won't be possible. You are on a planet called Cybertron.

[ That could be jarring information, for certain, but it was best to let him know so he wouldn't expect his pickup. ]

I suppose they would be to you.

[Because Six's body armor? Probably not as strong as yours.]

[And slicing off a few legs to knock it off-balance before stabbing it through the head.]

I wouldn't say "no".

[There's a brief video feed with one of those centipede-like creatures that have been spawning for the past week.]

[He's holding one of the centipedes off with crossed swords for a moment to respond.]

Wonderful.

[And kicking it off before flipping backwards to give himself some space.]

Some backup would be appreciated.

Whose temple are you near?

[He's already shifting to his alt. He's had just about enough of the damn things, himself.]

I have no idea. Give me a minute so I can give you a visual.

[He does a forward flip over the centipede to slice it in its back with both blades. As it shrieks, he moves the camera so that it shows the Vector Prime temple.]

[ Thankfully, he turned video on, and Saber could see around his surroundings. Being from that particular temple, the knight could recognize it immediately. ]

I will be there.

[ Her feed would be cut off, as she was already departing from the recreational center and traveling towards Vector's temple.

Moving in a blur of green, Saber doesn't bother to slow down (as she does usually, mostly to hide her ability to move so fast) when arriving.

This gentleman has a few in his welcoming party. Stopping a few feet behind him, she faces the direction opposite of him and parries off another charging centipede with a swipe of the blade that appears in both of her hands. ]

((PS: I see that Drift is coming. Let me know if you want me to hop into another thread so that everyone helping out Six is kind of in the same thread, or if you want me to do anything like that.~))

Be there really soon. [As in, as soon as he can come downstairs. Six might hear the roar of engines. ]

...didn't realize they'd gotten so close.

[He sweep-kicks a few legs out from under it as it starts to turn around, dodging back as it swipes at him with those jaws.]

((OOC: And that will work fine with me. :D))

[And another dual-wielding sword fighter. Not bad.]

[He jumps up to spin kick one lunging head to the side.]

[ This gentleman is agile! That makes Saber a happy knight; that means she can jump as well without it being awkward. ]

Not everyone receives a welcoming party. I thought I would join.

[ A slight grin is given. Seems the knight enjoys fighting.

As the centipede she parried rears its upper form back and then swipes downwards, the knight turns her blade sideways and then slashes forward as the creature lunges directly towards her. Catching the tender underside of the neck where the armored plates join, her sword edges in and proceeds to slide through the centipede as it removes its own head. The centipede drops in front of her halfway through, though, and she has to jerk the sword out of the creature. ]

((I may have been unclear. Saber has a large sword she uses in both hands! Unless that's what you meant, too. x3 So, do you want me to put my next post in Drift's thread, then? We have some fighting going on here, so I'll just.. continue there? You'll have to forgive me, I am new to this DW roleplay thing.))

He's your First-Forged. You have a glyph on your arm, right?

[He hopes so. The last thing they need is more glyphless.]

[Drift arrives, launching from his vehicle mode, drawing a blade to slice off the head of one of the creatures, leaping over the human, landing on the far side with a heavy thud. ]

Haven't exactly looked yet.

[Six jumps back a bit as the car transforms into a giant robot. He'll have to ask about this later. Right now, his primary focus is survival.]

((OOC: I am a derp and misread. Because I'm just that cool. XD And feel free to join the Drift thread if you want. Otherwise, we can just continue here and say it's just one more wave of centipede creatures.))

[You're rather nimble yourself, Saber.]

[Your movements are rather similar to his own back when he used a two-handed sword, so it's easy for him to figure out where she's going to move next. As soon as she's free of the last creature she killed, he brings his magna blades together like a tuning fork, creating an electromagnet which he uses to pick up the corpse and fling it into its compatriots.]

Welcome, Drift.

[ Saber greets Drift as he's arrived. He helped her out immensely when she first arrived, too, so it makes her smile to see him helping out someone else.

Saber's remaining with her back to the two, after having dispatched one of the centipedes already. ]

Newcomer, what is your name? I'm called Saber.

[ Standing with her sword out in front of her, leaving it encased in the swirling illusion of wind, she makes eye contact with another one that looks as if it's about to charge her. She won't move forward to leave the gentleman's back exposed. ]

((If I just always post after Six, that should be good, right?))

Didn't the Acolytes explain anything?

[That's worrying. He might try to talk to Vector about that.]

[He lunges, ready to take the position at Six's back, to clear Saber to move. He has slightly greater range to cover the human's, uh, six.]

No time, really.

[He crosses his swords for a moment before slicing into one rearing up centipede's belly, the outer plating coming off to have some of the inner workings come out partially.]

And the name's "Six".

[ Dashing forward as Drift takes the position behind Six, Saber swings her sword upwards and catches the creature's neck as it strikes down at her. As the head and body crash beside her, a splash of some kind of fluid pours down across her.

..Lovely. She shakes the invisible sword clean and then stands with her back to both Drift and Six. Since Drift has such a large area he can cover in a short amount of time, she chases after the nearest centipede.

After climbing up it's long form, the head falls to the ground. She jumps to the side as the body crumples. ]

[You. Do not even know. Whirl had his own adventure with the things. It ended up...slightly less than awesome.]

Yeah, well, you know. Not everyone's a badaft like me.

[Yeah, that's right. You jelly. ]

[Yeah. Totally jealous. Except without the jealousy thing.]

That remains to be seen.

[When the centipede finally stops twitching, he removes the blade from its skull. That's right. Squishy thing made it out without a scratch.]

Just you wait. I'm editing my highlight reel of my last fight, in fact, right now.

[As in editing out the 'necklace gets caught on a terrorpede mandible and Whirl gets flung around like a rodeo clown'.]
