[Ok. Shepard's day wasn't going well. Day? Night? Whatever time it was. Waking up with a thing that looked like the human reaper wasn't the best way to start things. Shooting it in the face seemed like a good idea, though. Or... maybe not. Well, she was dead, so what was the issue? This place was obviously a hell specially cultivated for her. Planet made of metal? Metal humanoid things standing over her bed when she awoke? Yes. It would sound like hell if she believed in it, and if Ashley were here, Shepard might owe her an apology for not believing in that afterlife stuff.]

This is Commander Shepard of the Alliance. Can anyone read me?

[She'd already come in contact with Mordin and was currently trying to make it to his location without being seen by anyone else (stealth wasn't her thing and she sort of wished Kasumi were here right now.) It didn't surprise her that Mordin would be in hell, all things considered. Of course she had wished that all of her teammates would end up in a nicer place if there was one, but still no shocker. And of course his presence confirmed her suspicion that she was dead. Not that there was any question. The Catalyst had told her there was 0% chance of survival. But for the Geth and EDI... It was worth it, wasn't it? She'd never know.]

Location unknown. Hostiles all around. I'm undetected for the moment, but I could sure use a hand or a friendly face right about now.

[She'd keep the feed open in case anyone else responded, but she still had to find Mordin.]

[Well prepare to have your breath taken away a bit more.]

[Shepard placed one hand on his, using his hips as a hold to push herself up a bit to press her lips to his while the other slid around the back of his head to pull him down at the same time, her eyes fluttering shut with a smile on her lips. This is her Garrus, right? Of course it is. He'd know their last words to each other were 'I love yous'.]

[I love you?]

...Shepard?

[He.. doesn't really say anything as he's suddenly pulled into a kiss. There's a slight stiffness, but otherwise the turian just sort of.. watches what happens. He's more confused than anything.]

[After a few seconds, there's a bit of an awkward shift back out of the gesture.]

This is a little forward, don't you think?

[Shepard was left sort of motionless, hands still in the air as she was trying to figure out what just happened. They had discussed having children together, how was kissing him forward?]

Uh... I didn't realize...

[The armor, the unhealed wounds... Wrex didn't remember anything before she died the first time. How far back was Garrus? Had they even had sex? She dropped her arms, taking a step back. She suddenly felt like her armor was gone and she was exposed with enemies all around.]

You... What's the last thing you remember?

[Whoops.. Was there a misunderstanding here? He tries to ignore what just happened. Best not to make this any more embarrassing than it already was.]

We'd just detonated the Collector Base. I'm guessing.. You're from Mordin's time?

[He never really saw himself pairing up with the Commander. If she'd asked, sure, he'd be... willing to try it out. But It never happened before.]

That's a good guess.

[She turned away, back towards Mordin's signal.]

We should meet up with the others. I don't want to leave Wrex and Mordin together too long.

[And she didn't want to dwell on this too long. Her best friend didn't know half the things they had done together, and the man she was in love with didn't even know they'd had a relationship. It was a great day. Not.]

[There's a short nod on his end. He can tell something was wrong in her voice, leading to a concerned expression on his face. Garrus may be a little confused at what just happened, but Shepard was still his friend, and he'd at least try to fix this.]

Listen, Shepard.. If you want to talk about it...

[There's a brief pause as he thinks of what to say.]

The trip to Mordin's coordinates are going to take a while. They're at the opposite end of the Haven.

[Plenty of time to talk.]

[A reaper invasion sounded like it would be amazing right about now. Anything to put them back into something familiar where it didn't feel like her oxygen tank was ruptured in space again and she couldn't breathe, and all the heat was slowly seeping out of her.]

I think, uh... We should... I need to fill Wrex in on everything, so we should just wait. And there are things Mordin hasn't heard either. Better to fill everyone in at once.

[And with that she was off, back to jogging toward Mordin. Was he her Mordin? What wouldn't he remember? She needed to clear her head and try to think about things objectively. Right now she was dangerously close to crying, and she hadn't done that since she was like 5.]

Hm.. You've got a point there. I've seen some pretty crazy stuff...

[Like magic guitars and well..every alien she's met.]

Crazy how?

[Aliens are crazy? Oh Kay...]

Well, for one thing, GIANT CENTIPEDES.

Another thing--Don't write on any pieces of paper. Ever. Unless it's in a notebook. You might turn into a guitar or have hearts float around your head.

Paper? Uh, don't worry about that. [Who even used paper anymore?]

[She does work with a geth and an unshackled AI, so sometimes Shepard knows how to play nice.]

I'd like to more about these people, Primus and Unicron. Why are they fighting, and how does their battle bring us to this place?

Not a lot... I heard the name "Prima" before I... took off.

[And by "took off", she meant "shot in the face and ran like hell".]

I haven't taken my armor off to see what my brand looks like.

Oh hey! I'm close to the Prima temple! I wonder if I could meet you...

Leonard McCoy. I'd give you my credentials but I'm afraid those are sort of useless here. I'm a doctor, that's basically all you need to know. I'm a pretty good one, too. So I reckon if you survive fighting these bastards, come to me for any injuries and I'll see what I can do.

[Wing offers a patient smile.] They are not people so much as cosmic entities, the deities of my people. Primus is our god and creator. He is the bringer of light and life. He is usually manifest to us in some way, often as the core of our world. However this Cybteron is young and the First Forged still prepare for his arrival. Part of that preparation is purging the world of Unicron's corruption.

As to why they fight, it's an age old struggle is it not? Territory, power, control. The difference being that one is benevolent and the other is not. The Lambda is Unicron's way of seeding chaos onto the world. It's plucking matter: objects, people, whole buildings, randomly out of time/space and depositing them here. Sometimes it's monsters, either his own forces or natural species corrupted and lost to his chaos. Either way, they are focused solely on the mindless eradication of anything not of their kith.

[He looks almost sad for a moment.]

I'm sorry to paint such a dismal picture. You...do not seem like the type who'd want things sugar-coated? [ But then he brightens, because as long as Wing's spark pulses he will foster hope. ] There are good things in this world too though, happy and beautiful and inspiring.
