I do not have an issue with your age, since I was around your age when I first started training to become a knight. The main issue is your experience. I do not object to you being on the committee, but it does leave one to wonder if you could handle a full position at this point.

Perhaps something like an apprenticeship will be better suited for you, or any other inexperienced youth, and you can work your way up from there.
