[Barricade is not talking to the camera. He is talking to a small-ish dragon with bronze scales sitting on his desk. Across from the firelizard is a similar dragon made of metal with glowing green optics. The organic and non-organic dragons are both staring at each other, shifting on their feet and twitching their wings. The robotic one eventually takes off into the air, using tiny turbines in its wings to hover for a few moments before landing again.

The organic one turns to look at Barricade after that, squeaking and growling at him. He grins.]

That's what I figured. W-

[He starts looking towards the camera when the robotic firelizard creels metallically at him. He stares for a moment before looking at the feed finally.]

As I was about t'say. I think I've gotten all the kinks worked out with this little fella. He is a mechanical firelizard - non-firebreathing, of course.

I'm hopin' to make more and release them into the wild but I was wondering if anyone might want one for themselves before I start tweaking the programming from 'tame' to 'wild'. The design and mechanics would be the same with each, but with paint t'your liking.

Should they need repairs, you're offering?

Of course. And repairs f'r their owners if they're particularly obstinate.

I don't imagine the creature will pose all that much trouble for me, but the sentiment is appreciated. The question now lies with whether you could build something so capable.

The answer is, I'm not much of a weapons' maker. And I get the feeling that if one seriously injured someone, the blame'd be heaped on me, and I'd get so bored in jail.

Can they be made resistant to high voltages?

With proper insulation, yes. Though it'd require the armor being coated in a layer of rubber. I know that hardly appeals on a visual level t'some.

Durability is preferable to empty aesthetics.

Mm, utilitarian. Can do, then. Anything else?

Push the size, make it hardy, non-conductive, hmm. Anything else... anything else...

Code it to be a bit wild. Nothing so far as to make you uncomfortable, but just enough so there's something to tame.

That won't be difficult at all; the coding is based on my organic one and he's mostly instincts already. Just have t'tweak it a bit more in that direction.

Push that then and I believe that should be everything unless it could do with a means to defend itself.

Teeth and claws aside the organic ones are better at evasion than combat. Done what I can t'mimic that. Could see what I c'n do about upgrading that a smidge without making it too hazardous for the organics around here.
