[What a surprise: Sentinel’s angry. The acolytes are pottering around in the background of the video, having been shouted at and told to frag off. Clearly, any information they had to offer had fallen on, ah, deaf audios.]
Ugh, is there anyone around here who isn’t a useless maintenance drone? These things are swarming all over the place and I haven’t been able to get a straight answer out of any of them!
I’m a Prime; we’re supposed to get better treatment than this!
[He scowls into the camera.]
Anyway, any Autobots in the immediate vicinity report directly to me. I want to know what’s going on and, uh, where I am.
[This is about as polite as you’re going to get from him.]
[Then he grimaces, frowning.]
I'll never fraggin' get it, why they do it.
Re: [video]
I doubt the temple will have crevices dotted around.
[He frowns.] Why they do it? They're Decepticons, from the moment they're brought online, all they're exposed to is Megatron's propaganda. It's a vicious circle, where all they know is hatred for Autobots because they believe Cybertron is their right.
Not to mention Megatron would never be magnanimous in defeat.
[He shakes his head. Viewing the Decepticons with such contempt is what he's used to, ironically - it's the same for Autobots in his universe, taught to hate and fear the 'Cons.]
[Of course, Sentinel is being highly hypocritical here, as he's made a deal with Lockdown, under the guise that what he was doing was for the good of Cybertron.]
[Cliffjumper shrugs, and then listens, frowning. Part of it simply makes sense to him because, you know, he really can't stand Decepticons, but part of it...]
... Wait, wasn't the war over ages ago in your reality? Why're there's still 'Cons around, then, and how'd they even get more of 'em?
[Of course, it might be similar to the situation in his universe, but from what little he knows from what Blurr's said it didn't seem that close.]
Re: [video]
The ones that are popping up now that weren't already on record, I assume were the ones that went into hiding before the war ended.
Either way, it's fragging annoying.
[Not that he'd be particularly happy with the latter, but if the Decepticons in his reality ever agreed to that, he could see it happen.]
Sounds like annoyin' would be the least of it.
Re: [video]
I think the idea was thrown around a bit after the war ended, but got lost in a mess of red tape. For the best, really. Give them as many rehabilitation chances as you want, they're Decepticons at spark and they always will be. Plus I wasn't even online when they were discussing the possibility so I don't know exactly what happened.
So they rot in prison. What a loss for everyone. [Pft.]
Fraggers, the lot of 'em, even if the 'Cons ain't always been around or they somehow had some sorta reason for startin' the war... Not that that's what happened in my reality.
[The mechs who became Decepticons didn't start out that way, but given they listened to Megatron, they were obviously unpleasant (or willing to be) to start with.]
Re: [video]
Eh, ours have been around for millions of stellar cycles and started the war because they wanted to use the Allspark to give life to Cybertron itself and use it to wreak havoc across the galaxy. [He says all this fairly quickly and in monotone, it sounds like a passage out of a history book that's been memorized.]
'Least in ours, that's true. And in mine Megatron just collected a bunch of mechs to him who weren't happy with the fact that things were peaceful.
[Literally. A lot of people got mowed down in the beginning because of those sudden attacks in the start of it all.]
Re: [video]
That's basically how the war started in mine as well. Slag really hit the fan when Megatron overthrew Megazarak, the previous leader when they were still known as Destrons.
[He rubs his face and vents.] Look, uh, while it's been fun to compare our universes and all I should probably start, y'know, doing something productive.
They didn't even exist at all before that for us... [Shaking his helm, Cliffjumper waves a hand lazily.]
At least get the layout of the immediate surroundings and slag? Yeah, I'll leave ya to it.
Re: [video]
[He forces a smile briefly and shuts off the video link. Interactions with other bots who had answered his broadcast hadn't gone just as well, but in his mind, Cliff is a friend! Yay!]
