I was planning to talk to the Megatron that first showed up without a glyph. He's the most reasonable of the two.

[While the words are a bit like an order there is a lot of concern in his voice, he had been worried about the flyer but did not want to pressure him by contacting him to ask him what he was going to do.]

Thank you.  [The relief, while subdued, suppressed, is audible.]  And yes, he . . . maybe be approachable.  Only time will tell with that, I think.

And . . . not yet, no.  But . . . depending on what either Megatron intends to demand of us, I will . . . I will not be following him.  [He's not nearly as confident of this as he wants to be.  Try as he might to hide that, it /does/ come through.]  I do not intend to make the same mistakes I have in the past.  If that means scrubbing my wings and declaring myself Neutral . . . I will.  Whether I go that far or just decline order, though . . . I don't expect things to be taken well.

[Fact of the matter is, he expects to be killed – his only hope is swiftly.  What scares him almost more is what will become of him or what will be done to him once Alpha Trion brings him back, assuming the First-forged manages it.]

For the time being.  That . . . may change.  I wanted to ask about the process you or your brothers go through to, ah, recover a mech's spark for revival, and if having a heads-up before it happens – in case it happens – betters the chance of success.

I . . . don't know yet.  Nothing concrete has been ordered by . . . either of the other Megatrons.  But depending on what they want, I will refuse.  [He hesitates, then straightens his shoulders, wings flicking.]  I don't expect to live much longer after that . . . but I think the real trial would be once I returned, assuming Alpha Trion manages to revive me.

I'm just . . . trying to take stock and be prepared at this point.

You are a friend and part of the Police Force. We will do our best to protect you if that's necessary. [He notices, and Blurr knows that if something scares a former Decepticon like that it must be really bad.

He listens carefully, frowning slightly at the gravity of the situation.]

I advise caution, though. Thing can be done in a way that don't leave you in such vulnerable position. I could bring your concerns to their FirstForged.

I don't know if that will help, ultimately . . . but I can't see it really hurting either.

If things really go wrong we can always try to talk with the FirstForged, but I hope it doesn't get to that.

You remember when I came to you asking about the connection to Megatronus that I'd apparently developed? Somehow? Maybe because whatever-power-that-be…is… knew that a few mechs would be arriving shortly after. I'm sure you're aware we've gained a few more Megatrons in the last several days. If either . . . or likely both, but whatever . . . if either of them decides to try to pull the Decepticons together for conquest, I . . .

[He looks up again, determination…and possibly a little fear…clear in his dark optics.]

I will refuse. And I cannot see that going over well. I'm sure I don't have to elaborate…
