[It's been a while since Strelok was around, offering advice from living like a hobo in Russia or shooting Starscream in the eye to keep himself alive. And the reason it's been a while is because he went on an adventure without telling anyone! Whoops.

But he's back now, and making a transmission. Video, for once. Once of his hands is bandaged, and... is that a plant that's straining to try to snap a small energon goodie out of his fingers? He chuckles lightly.]

Ahh, I bet you missed these more than me, yes?

[He tosses the goodie to the plant, which catches it in its rather huge venus flytrap mouth. He looks to the camera after that.]

Well, I am back from the Badlands now. It was, perhaps, not so bad as it could have been, at least for me. I will be restocking my supplies later though, and if any of the humans need medical attention I can help.

[He pauses and locks things after a moment. Gonna keep this to a very few people just in case.]

I was able to get a look at the Badlands, while the others were being attacked. You will want to know what I saw, I think.

W-what's that thing?

A lot were hurt - there were bladed monsters that attacked us. I was not there when it happened, though. [He raises his bandaged hand, smiling.] Just the usual scrapes and bruises for me.

It is a plant of some kind. It eats energon; I followed the little lightning bugs and found it.

[It was also too big for it's pot and the only one big enough that he could find was baby blue and covered with cartoon ladybugs.]

I'm not surprised to hear that happened _{but I'm glad to} know you weren't hurt further. Did you^{got to see} a doctor already? McCoy is rally trustworthy.

Only energon? How much that thing can grow?

[That's adorable.]

Ahh, doctors. I do not want to waste his time. Others were hurt more than me and I know how to dress wounds pretty well.

Only energon. And I couldn't say, but we shall see sooner or later, huh? [He chuckles.] I am just glad it is more interested in energy cubes than in me.

If you are sure, Strelok. and as long it doesn't get infected or anything and you die a slowly but painful death.... [Blurr think you should still go see a doctor eventually.]

That's good,_that's good. Is the first time i see a plant like that one. Did you get attacked by plants before?

[Strelok pauses with another energon goodie in his fingers (the plant straining to get at it), looking at Blurr with a hint of amusement.] Now who have you been talking to about infections? It would not be McCoy, would it?

[Because that would explain a lot, he's pretty sure.]

I have not, but in places like this? You never can be sure just what is coming.

We might have been talking a bit, yes. [He likes the organic, he's an interesting man to talk with.]

But my people can get infections too, we are not strange to those.

[Let Blurr tell you everything about the Cosmic Rust, it's an hilarious thing.]

I think he worries too much about things, maybe. Of course, I could always be wrong. But we are no stranger to infections in the Zone; we are good at handling our injuries.

[Well. The ones that are still alive, anyway.]

I did not know that Cybertronians could have infections. I am sure it is a terrible thing.

All the doctors I know worry a lot about things. I believe it's a doctor thing that can't be avoided. I trust your judgement then.

[Your world kind of sucks, Strelok.]

We are living creatures _{of course} we can have those too. Getting rust is really painful. ['Rust' as a disease probably sounds funny to organics but Blurr is making a really upset face.]

Ah, my Doctor did not worry too much. Even when I accidentally blew up grenades in my own face. But I guess they would worry, eh?

[Well, that part of it anyway. But Strelok kind of likes it; everyone tends to be more honest in the Zone. Why lie when you might not have the time for it?]

Rust. The bane of all machines, living or non. There are a few tricks I know of, that help get rid of it. I'm sure your medics know more than me, though.

I had thought I might.

The weather, it was pretty terrible on the way out. Too hot, too cold - I am lucky I pack for these things.

When we got closer I was able to find a path to higher ground, to scope out the Badlands. I could see them moving. Not in the direction of the Haven, but across the planet. And it is growing. The movement is slow, but... heh. Slow never stops these things, yes?

By the time I was able to get down, everyone had been attacked by bladed creatures. They were able to injure even Cybertronians.

There was not so much loot, sadly. Though the information I found may make up for the lack of items, perhaps.

Not too bad. This place is kind of crazy all the time though, in one way or another.

[Lyra shrugs a bit.]

It'll be better now that all of you are back.

Ahh, crazy is how it goes. In here, out there. It is almost normal, yes?

[He chuckles lightly.]

Hopefully things will settle down now, maybe. Or maybe they will keep being crazy. Who can say?

As weird as it is to say, I guess it is pretty normal for this place.

My guess is they probably won't.

It is more and more like the Zone here every time I look. Just with a few fewer mutants and anomalies.

[Strelok shrugs one shoulder, smiling.]

Probably not. But there are more of us to deal with it, now.
