[Locked from 686 Ebullient Prism || Visible to ALL]

[Blurr sounds very serious and doesn't look particularly happy either. He's all business today.]

Greetings everyone There's something I need to talk to you about One of the recent arrivals named 686 Ebullient Prism Monitor of Line Installation 1-4 proved to be a dangerous individual and any interaction with him implies a high risk DON'T get fooled by his polite and cheerful attitude Please be careful if you engage him and never do it alone IN FACT it will probably better if you avoid him altogether.

Thank you for your attention.

[Locked to 686 Ebullient Prism]

686 Ebullient Prism Monitor of Line Installation 1-4 It is MY duty to inform you that you are under arrest on suspicion of severely attacking and harming another robotic autonomous organism You do not have to say anything but resisting arrest re-gard-less of what degree may harm your defense.

Doyouunderstand?

[Locked to HALL 900 | Ic added after Barricade's conversation.
]

I would like to arrange a meeting with you if you please. It's important.

[Barricade, for once, is breaking out his rotating encryptions for this. Good luck to the hackers around here.]

Prism was previously on the same station I came from. I didn't speak to him often enough to offer anything other than 'he is dangerous and unstable'.

But I would speak with the one call Hal. He might know more than I do.

[Extra locking is always helpful, really.]

I know. I know. One of the others on the station had a report on some of what he did back in his dimension, but I never picked it up. [Which in hindsight is unfortunate.]

They were both present on Sacrosanct, so it wouldn't hurt to at least ask the man. If any others from the station show I'd probably recommend asking them too. Just offering what I can t'keep things safer.

[Barricade isn't a secret agent. He's just paranoid. Really paranoid.]

Pretty sure it involved nice things like dissecting organics and managing to terrorize super-soldiers that could destroy even me with little effort. [He'll let that sink in for a minute.]

I will. Just be careful, all right? I didn't speak to HAL before, but I didn't exactly meet that many stable non-organics on the station.

Better, he says. I'll be keeping an optic on him until he gets annoyed and shoves a blaster in my face, though.

[Hal actually had to do a lot of work to make a code that was enough of a clusterfuck to buy him some time. Prism is a preposterously capable hacker and he knows HAL's inclinations well. Life is unfair.]

We should discuss this elsewhere, not on the Link.

[He's not totally ignorant. He's figured out what this is about, yes he has.]

[Well, back on Sacrosanct, they were out to get him. And some were watching every conversation he had and every action he took.]

How could we? No one stayed dead and the keeper of the station wasn't inclined to do much- [Waaaait.] -much more than put him into an organic body. Though I don't know how we'd accomplish that here.

Death is never necessary, all right? This ain't a game of chess, you don't sacrifice pieces. [He feels strongly about this.]

The organics were fine. It was the intelligent machines made by organics that were the problem. And they showed up already crazy.

I'll let you know, promise.

That is for the best, and of course I can. It may simply take me a while.

[ Both to find and get there. Everything on Cybertron is, unsurprisingly enough, designed for giant robots.]

Are you all right, Blurr?

Ha! I'm glad I was right about you.

Soundwave told me all about it, I think we have a real problem on our hands, here.

Actually, who is this guy? What does he look like? I mean, you fought this guy, right? Came out okay?

It's not a problem.

Double locked | Starscream approves of this thinking

[personal profile] ex_dishonestly997 2012-08-10 03:07 am (UTC)(link)
That you're not just looking out for Autobots. [sure, Soundwave is a friendly con, but Starscream's not naive. "Decepticon" still means something to some mechs where he's from.]

Personally, I'm thinking disable him with an EMP and ask around the FirstForged, ask any of them if they have any tortu--uh... prison slash dungeon facilities?

If we can't hold him - or worse, if we can't catch him, it's a bigger problem.

Did Soundwave describe what he did? How he did it? I'm not saying you can't go alone, you can be my guest, but if I keep just visiting people in the Medbay, it's going to start looking like I helped put them there.

I am simply following protocol. I cannot allow anyone to stand between me and my purpose.

And I'm rarely as happy to be right when it doesn't involve someone's spark on the line. [only Starscream could turn a tender mission about protecting life into an "I told you so" competition about compliments.]

No torture? Blurr, you can look the other way, if you're squeamish. But you saw what he did to Soundwave. Didn't you?

Tentacles. [oh brilliant. This keeps getting better and better.] If you want my help, we're going to have to compromise a little, deal?

[ Hal arrives at Vector Sigma's temple looking rather worse for wear. Mostly it's because of his slightly wrinkled suit and the distinct lack of laundering facilities. He has an idea of what Prism has done, possibly to some inhabitant, but he doesn't feel at all responsible for it. It wasn't his choice. ]
