Is it really worth risking it? I don't know how they managed to get you in the first place but if they see they made a mistake then surely they'll try even harder to correct it?

I have no doubt that you are as skilled as you claim to be - but I don't think you are where you think you are. If you show yourself to be a threat then the Brave Police won't be the only ones coming after you.
