[Blurr is sitting in front of a door and those familiar with the structure will be able to tell he’s in Liege Maximo’s Temple. He a scratched all over but still has all his limbs, the only thing missing is the Elite Guard badge on his chest but that’s Swindle’s fault. The door behind him has the letters [C.A.U.T.I.O.N.] written in it under a drawing of the Elite Guard symbol. It also seems to have seven millions of locks and then more. Blurr finally speaks, sounding a tired but serious.]

686 Ebullient Prism is under the Elite Guard custody now. [Don’t mind the fact that Blurr’s the only Elite Guard agent in the whole planet.] His psychopathic tentacle pet monsters was intercepted as well you all can thank Starscream for that. I ran away in the end though.

I know that many of you would like to have a few minutes alone with Prism but I’ll give you three reasons why that’s a bad idea:

The ^first one: if you try to override my locks and get inside this room that will make me be a very unhappy mech. [And no one wants that, Blurr would make sad puppy eyes at you. And then put a pair of stasis cuffs in your persona too.]

The ^second one: not just because someone deserves to die that gives you the right to kill them. [Blurr even delivers the line at normal speed, he wants to make sure everyone gets it.]

And LAST BUT NOT LEAST no one is allowed to kill him or torture him, Barricade and Starscream I am looking at you two, because we need Prism alive to make sure he deactivates the explosive he put inside the mechs he attacked.

[Is that true, is that a ruse...it's actually hard to tell because Blurr's face is blank of emotion. Blurr is silent for a few seconds after that, letting the information sink in. At this point the camera swings over to reveal that Starscream is actually standing nearby, with a couple dings and scrapes up and down his frame and wings, adjusting his shoulder-mounted weapons uneasily--his optics widen a little at that last sentence and he shoots a look over, but doesn't say anything--yet.]

[and now Starscream butts in with an engaging, appreciative smile--first at Blurr and then at anyone who might be watching] I'm happy to report nobody was hurt badly and there was no major property damage, and that Blurr and I--Starscream, of course, your humble helper--were overjoyed to assist in making you all lead safer, more stable lives. [Torture references or no torture references. He adds] If anyone has further problems, don't hesitate to contact me about them.

[Not exactly locked to Barricade and Ratchet but this is only interesting to medics.]

[no sooner than the broadcast is over, he turns away and looks really mad.] That wasn't worth the damage to my wings, and I really doubt any of the medics are going to take time for me because of all the other mechs that sorry excuse for an artificial intelligence has wrecked.

[To say Starscream looks taken aback is an understatement. He looks absolutely dumbstruck for several seconds, long enough that the covering headtilt and frown is far too little too late. Won't leave him hurt...] I didn't--[No, he can't--make sense of that right now, it's so outside the realm of what he's been used to... He just moves, striding forward to bob down and peer at the sitting guard like he has no idea what to do with him.]

Well, we can both agree that I'd be an idiot to turn down free drinks. [safer ground, perhaps?] Need a little stasis-time first?

[Blurr is surprised by the look on Starscream's face too. Did he say something wrong? He's so unused to how this Starscream behaves, so different than the one from his world, that he often forgets he's a Decepticon. Blurr stares back at Starscream.]

[something about the situation, as bizarre as it is (if he knew the phrase buddy cop movie he'd probably use that) strikes him as funny, and for a second he just snickers, like the whole thing is hilarious.

It's probably partly residual relief that neither of them got slagged in the fight, but it's partly this whole "friends with an Autobot" thing, and not just an Autobot--an Autobot like Blurr. An idealistic, cause driven stickler.]

I feel fine. [just his poor wings baw] I'm thinking we should post some kind of security camera outside his room, so we know when he manages to get out of there. [it's definitely a when, and not an if]

[Don't think that Blurr misses the irony in all this, he is not that naive. But extreme times call for extreme measures and he wouldn't categorize Prism's actions as anything but extreme. If someone would have told him a year ago that he would be teaming up with a Decepticon like Starscream he would have laughed. Now he was smiling for a different reason. Being alive after all this was amusing in his books.]

Well if none of the medics really gives in and helps I still have the buffer. [It won't fix everything but it will make Starscream pretty again.] Like that one? [Blurr points to a random spot on the wall that's in front of the door. He thought of that already, Intelligent agent an all that.]

A buffer. [he looks a little nervous at that suggestion, but. It's not like he's in a position to be able to do it himself.] ...Alright. If they're busy.

[he follows Blurr's pointing, squints, and then grins.] You know. Your world's Autobots are lucky you're not a Decepticon. [high praise.]

It's a small device that makes your platting smooth and shiny. [Just in case you never heard of it. Do jets even get buffed?] THAT SAID, I will try to convince at least one of them to fix you.

[That got a grin from the smaller mech.] Oh you, flatterer. so...my temple I guess? [For the drinks, he means, but feel free to misunderstand.]

No, I know. A good polish every so often actually assists in energon efficiency by--a considerably margin. [and he insisted, somewhat vainly, that anyone who should fly in his squadron represented him and thus wouldn't tolerate any scruffiness in his ranks. But having Blurr do it, it would be... well.

[oh right drinks that's definitely what this was about the whole time. He reaches down and gives Blurr a friendly shoulderwheel bap, and then steps away from the door into the hall proper to transform, smoothly and elegantly, into his cybertronian jet form, darting off down the hall and out through the nearest available window, calling back] I'll still race you _there!

[He stagger a bit (deception so strong, god), and then quickly changed into his car alt mode. he rushed after Starscream, if cars could smile he would be doing that] Bring it.
