[Video | Location: Alpha Trion’s Temple]

[Across the Link, a new video begins to play. The camera focuses in on what appears to be a rather young woman with two very long, thick braids of blue hair dressed in an outfit that resembles that of a maid. With her hands folded neatly together in front of her apron, arms locked straight at the elbows, she faces directly towards the camera with straight posture and a light smile.]

Excuse me. Please forgive this interruption.

My name is Yuzuki. I have only just arrived, though I still do not fully understand how I came to be in this place.

I am currently seeking further information concerning this location I have been told is called Cybertron, and searching for my owner, Mister Kokubunji Minoru. Having been separated from him, I wish to know whether or not he has come here through the Lambda as well. My master is twelve years old with black hair cut to eye level and has dark brown eyes with light skin. He typically wears a mandarin style jacket and sometimes wears a pair of glasses.

If you have recently seen him, please immediately contact me with further information.

Sir, if you can hear this message, please know that I am searching for you.

[With a forward bow from the hips and her hands sliding downwards against her skirt in the motion, Yuzuki comes up straight after a few seconds to then cut off the wide broadcast transmission.]

You have an owner?

[What lucky twelve year old gets to own a girl? ~~Where can he sign up?~~]

...'Owner'?

Er. You mean boss, right?

... The slag do you mean, "owner"? No one's got a right to own anybody, an' if you've been taught that, that's wrong... And wouldn't be in force here anyway, 'cause I'm rather sure your... "owner" ain't here, and since this isn't Earth, none of their laws apply here.

[Cliffjumper's optics are narrowed, and out of view, one hand is tightened into a fist. Excuse him if he sounds a bit angry here, but this is unbelievable!]

[Oh he looks so cute! She isn't entirely certain as to what he is, but considering phones and laptops can look like rabbits or other things where she comes from, she wonders if he might be similar.]

[The question seems a little odd, but she answers with a nod and a sweet smile.]

I do. He built me himself.

[With a shake of her head, she responds with a gentle correction to make her relation to Minoru clear.]

Boss would be an incorrect term. Mister Kokubunji has all legal rights to me. I am a custom model persocom after all.

...Wait, what?

[Custom...model? That doesn't sound good at all!]

What's a 'persocom'?

[His response is, sadly, not as sweet. In fact he freaks out.]

H-How the heck do you build a person?!

[Yuzuki is rather taken aback by the emotional response her message receives from a being she cannot identify as more than vaguely similar to humans or persocoms. She stalls briefly, but within seconds recovers enough to respond with the same polite tone as in her original message. After two previous responses to the use of the word 'owner', she believes she knows the cause of confusion as it is something she sometimes deals with back home as well.]

I apologize if I have caused any distress. I believe there has been some misunderstanding. I am a persocom unit; a custom model built by Mister Kokubunji himself two years ago.

[Now she understands why the girl is confused. A simple explanation should clear things up.]

The word persocom is short for 'personal computer'. Persocoms perform all the functions of a standard desktop computer, laptop computer, or screened unit and handle phone communication. In addition, we can perform many other functions and better serve our owners than a non-interactive model computer.

Oh, please don't be alarmed!

[With her port covers hidden under her hair, this seems to happen fairly often at home too.]

I am not a person, but a persocom. A computer.

Computer? But I've seen computers before! They got screens and make beep-bop noises and are filled with cats! How can a mega cutie be anything like that?

[She's so... Wow. Blades can't help himself and turns on his camera before he even knows what he's going to say, staring blankly for a moment before his senses come back to him.]

Hi! Hi Yuzuki, I'm Blades. I haven't seen your owner, but maybe I can tell you about Cybertron?

[When she says owner, he just imagines her in a situation similar to his own with Dani. Nothing weird.]

[Like pretty much everyone else, he's a little thrown off by the "owner" bit. But, hey, this could be a chance to learn more about human culture, right?]

I'm not seen nor heard of anyone matching that description, sorry. [pauses] If I may ask, is it common for humans to possess other humans? Do you serve as a profession? Or perhaps an indentured servant? Or is it a matter of forced enslavement? [She didn't look or act like a slave, though. His invisible money was on the first.]

[It's not quite as surprising to see a very different sort of being on the other side of the video as before, and she's quite curious as she takes note of the many differences in those she is meeting so quickly. Although she does notice the pause as well, she merely assumes there might have been a connection error with the communication.]

[It's quite nice to hear a name in return, and she smiles warmly at such a friendly response.]

It's a pleasure to meet you, Blades. Anything you could tell me about Cybertron would be greatly appreciated.

[She had been thrown for quite a loop waking with such trouble and meeting the Acolyte.]

[Nodding, her smile returns easily. The compliment is not missed either.]

You are correct. Mister Kokubunji has a computer like that as well. Perhaps it would make more sense if you thought of me like a doll with a computer inside.

[It was a pleasure to meet him. A pleasure! What a great start!]

Ok, well Cybertron is a planet made of metal, and the core of it is... well no one knows for sure, but some people say the core holds the Well of All Sparks, and others say it's just molten energon and metal swirling around. Some bots have tried to explore, but the guardians of the planet always stop them before they can get too far. But yeah, so we Cybertronians live on Cybertron and we intake energon, and...

[He was getting a little carried away, wasn't he?]

Yeah. It's a nice place. At least the Cybertron I know is. This place is a little... uninhabited. Usually there are huge cities and bright lights and bots everywhere.

So guys can play with dolls after all!

[He always thought there was something weird about that...]

That's pretty spiffy, you look just like a human. You must be one heck of a doll.

[Another negative response. Before Yuzuki can really even try to figure out how she feels regarding the possibility that she is here in this new, unfamiliar place without Minoru, she's caught off guard by the questions posed to her. It's actually a bit of a shock.]

What? Oh...oh no! Slavery is illegal, and no human is permitted to own another human in Japan!

I am so sorry for causing such confusion! I am not a human. I am a persocom, a personal computer.

... master?

Human beings have masters?

[This is news to him.]

[Male humans do tend to prefer female persocoms.]

Mister Kokubunji did an excellent job with my creation, but all persocoms were modeled from humans, and we are capable of seeing, hearing, and feeling in ways very similar to humans.

[Listening carefully to the information presented, Yuzuki has no difficulty keeping up, but she does not fully understand. She decides to ask for clarification on a few things.]

So you are a Cybertronian, and inhabit Cybertron, but this is not the same planet that you know? Are there two different planets referred to as Cybertron?

Also, if you could, is it possible for you to explain what the 'Well of All Sparks' and energon are? I am not familiar with these terms.

[From what she has heard about the planet so far, she is glad that she has not yet ventured out of the temple, or even left the room she was taken to after waking. To be described as a metal planet, Cybertron must have a different compositional makeup from Earth. The more information she can gather prior to exploring, the better.]

[As she was in error, she has every responsibility to set things straight as much as possible with anyone that responds.]

I deeply apologize. I am not a human, but a persocom or personal computer built by a human.

Unfortunately I did not anticipate that my message on the Link would be misunderstood, and that was in error.

Essentially, yes, I am. Persocom designs were modeled from humans and are meant to mimic them closely.

[A slight pause, then she speaks with a tone of concern.] But...you seem alarmed by this.

[She's so polite! Why can't there be more people like this around? Maybe it's what makes her so perfect.]

Well... I guess. I never thought there was before, but here we are! A different Cybertron. Energon is fuel. We intake it to keep ourselves running, like humans do with food. [Of course he hasn't put together at all that she's not human.]

And the Well of All Sparks... Well, it's where our sparks- our souls, if you will, go once we deactivate. It's our version of heaven.
