[The video switches on with a small thunk; lying on its side, playing a rather grisly scene. Sentinel Prime is on the ground, getting his ass whooped - he's not in the best of condition, and he's taken quite a few beatings already, but the worst injury of all is the fact his right leg's been torn off and cast aside, spilling energon everywhere.

And oh golly, his assailant appears to be Ambulon. Ambulon, in his perfect purple and blue paint scheme. His back is to the recording, but you clearly see how he's repeatedly stomping Sentinel in the torso with one foot.]

This your doing, Autobot!? You bring me here!? [And Ambulon is just pounding away at the half-conscious Sentinel. The answer he gets isn't good enough; not that it's much of an answer so much as a noise.] Where's the rest of your crew? Where's your leader? [But he kind of laughs because, yeah, he's not expecting any answers. Just watching the suffering is enough - but he is angry. Ambulon swings back his foot and kicks Sentinel hard in the side. At this point, he's moved around the Autobot and--oh, is that a Decepticon insignia on his shoulder?]

I got bigger things to deal with. You're not worth my time. [And so Ambulon just sort of bails on the Autobot, picking up the device as he goes along. He's surprised it's been recording all this time, however.] Well. Seems I got the Autobot's friends on the line already. Don't worry. Your big-chinned companion'll live - if you get to him in time. But first, I want some answers: who the Hell brought me here, where the Hell is Megatron or the DJD, and who the Hell do I have to kill to get back?

[OOC: Got permission from Sentinel-mun for Sentinel's ass-beating. ♥ There'll be a thread in this post for anyone who wants to help Sentinel. And I recommend someone does, 'cause he kinda needs help. :(]

Ambulon?

[That's a question as much as an exclamation, and the last few things popping up on the Link gets connected to this one and Elita stares.]

The Megatron that is here probably won't meet your parameters. [Since he seems to be among the ones who's changed.]

Do I know you? No, wait, I couldn't possibly - I'm sure an abomination of a frame like yours would stick out in my memory banks.

And what do you mean, "won't meet my parameters"?

[Elita just does a very passable roll of her optics at the mention of "abomination" - what is the issue with this with mechs from the reality Ambulon is from anyway?]

You may want to check the Link device or upgrade that you're using, even if you currently don't remember... Though if it's blank that would mean you're an alternate.

[But if it's not blank, what's going on, then? She puts the thought aside for later. Then she shrugs.]

The one that I'm reasonably certain comes from your reality was normal until the storm hit, I saw something a bit ago that suggests he's suddenly turned to more peaceful methods.

[She's... almost amused and expectant to see the reaction, even if it most probably will be an incredulous accusation that it's not the right Megatron.]

That sounds like a waste of time when I could just get straight answers right now.

[And Ambulon... looks surprised at that last comment. And then--haha oh GOD he's cackling. It is frightening, actually. Ambulon isn't known to laugh much but he is just outright guffawing.]

Peaceful methods!? Are you serious!? What are you implying? You really think I'll believe some Matrix-glitch about me having defected and joined those weak, blind Autobots!? 'Cause if that's what you mean, you're way off.

[She grimaces a bit at the laugh, but more because of how it sounds than anything else. Couldn't he laugh in a more... pleasant way, at least?]

Like I said, the Link would show you, and we were talking about Megatron weren't we? Not you. He suddenly and drastically changed his tune as well, as of the storm yesterday.

[Eyeing Ambulon, Elita shrugs.]

But you might be included in the "acting strangely" part. Take it as you will, but I'm a recon specialist, Ambulon, and there's no reason to give you false information about Megatron [Or yourself, but she leaves that out, at least verbally.] when you could check it so very easily yourself.

If anything, you're the ones with the warped minds. This Megatron may just be suffering from amnesia, or perhaps the original was replaced. Could be the original was never here at all. [Ambulon, shut up.]

[smirk] Well, why research when I can simply go to him myself? Do you perhaps have his location?

I haven't suddenly changed my personality... or, as far as I know, gotten switched with an alternate.

[If that's what's going on. It doesn't exactly seem to be a personality switch... Elita tilts her helm.]

Unfortunately not, but as far as I know and unless something changed, his glyph would tie him to Megatronus Prime's temple.

So... you're a Decepticon? Always been?

[Need to start out somewhere to figure this out.]

You've got a sharp tongue. You sound smart, too. What a waste, joining the Autobots. [tsktsk]

I thought I made it obvious from the get-go? I've always been a Decepticon, and I have no plans to defect any time soon. Why don't you give defecting a try, hmm? Be nice to have a lady on our side for a change. [Autobots got Arcee, or whatever. He doesn't really know much about her, anyway.]

If it comforts you, I didn't join until the war was technically over in my reality. Not that I didn't fight Decepticons before that, but I wasn't with the faction.

[She smiles a little, lopsidedly. And wonders, quietly, how and why Ambulon defected - the one she knows anyway.]

Just trying to figure out the differences... [She shakes her helm slowly, frowning a little.] And I'm feeling pretty good about where I am. I wouldn't want Grim after me if I did defect!

[The thought is both amusing, since she never would, and sobering, because this is Grimlock.]

But you sound too much like an Autobot. Weed that out, and you may find the 'Cons a bit more fun. [Like, get rid of your gross compassion and patience and stuff.]

Grim? Oh, you mean Grimlock. [And you may be able to tell by his glower that--yeah, he knows about Grimlock, and he knows that Dinobot could own his ass. Then again, no need for Elita to know!] My unit and I have taken down mechs like Grimlock with ease. And though I may not have the rest of my team with me, you'd be surprised at just how powerful a combiner is on their own.

[She grins then, a bit dryly.]

My teacher wouldn't have allowed for anything else, and Circuit Su does require some... temperance. And considering I don't find it particularly riveting to kill for killing's sake or conquer other species, I doubt I would find the Decepticons very exciting.

[Her helm tilts, and her optics narrow thoughtfully.]

Ah. So the combiner project was finished. Makes sense. And I don't doubt you're quite strong, but while a combiner could toss Grim around, yes, he can do the same in turn... and seem to be pretty proficient in taking them apart.

[Not that her Grimlock's here, though, but having met another reality's Grimlock, she doesn't feel like she needs to amend her description any.]

You never know. Once you've had a taste, the addiction quickly kicks in. Who knows - you might have fun. [sneer] Circuit Su, huh? Interesting. Haven't met many with interest in the skill.

[HURRRMMM] Of course it was finished. My team is waiting for me. I need to get back to my universe. And if it requires busting a few heads, I'll quite happily take that risk.

[She just sighs, static buzzing, and waves a hand.]

You and almost everyone else present, and we haven't found a way back yet. You deciding to beat people up isn't going to magically create a portal, Ambulon.

And Circuit Su suits me... and my specialisation. I do know a few other martial arts methods as well, but those are more for personal interest.

Maybe, maybe not. But it should get me answers in a more entertaining way. [Researching videos is for nerds.]

Of course. [Have a flickering of her optics very similar to an eyeroll, Ambulon. And what is it with people and leering??]

Widening my knowledge. Martial arts isn't just useful in my function as recon, but it's my hobby as well... [Pause, and then she grins sharply.] Plus, I'm making sure my colour scheme isn't false advertising.

[Colour of energon, vital fluids, all that jazz.]

Plus your scheme makes you quite pretty. [For a FREAK OF NATURE. Also, oh God, Ambulon, control your loins.]

Heh. Maybe if things were different, I'd actually like to see you use some of those martial art skills of yours. But as it currently stands, I'm a bit too busy for an entertaining show.

I suppose you're the type to like energon all over everything, then? [Helmtilt. Since while she may have nice lines, she has no illusions about how palatable her colour scheme actually is.]

Busy running from the law, yes. [Her expression flattens out then and she frowns.] You better hope you don't get caught.
