I've had a talk with Alpha Trion and - well. I'd rather talk about the details in person instead of on the network. But he suggested contacting you.

[And then he pauses, because Skyfire said he didn't want to talk on the network and --]

Do you know the lake, in his territory?

[Because that's where he's standing now.]

[When Skyfire arrives, he's still standing quietly on the shoreline, watching the water. Sometimes he'll toss in a rock, but for the most part, he's silently standing in one place.]

[Yes, he looks... really quiet. Skyfire lands nearby and smiles, nodding as a greeting.]

[He jumps a little, when Skyfire nears him. He... hadn't really thought the robot would be that big. He has to crane his neck up to see his face.]

Well, you see... Alpha Trion offered me the chance to become one of his Initiates. When I asked for some time to decide, he said you might be able to tell me more about it. 'How it feels like', as he put it.

[He wonders how many others. And a hand drifts up to cover his Glyph. A force of habit, more than anything, now.]

We have to live in his temple. Like I do. But... in your own room. It doesn't feel right to live anywhere else. It's... strange.

[He nods, thoughtful.] He did talk about 'binding'. I figured it wasn't just a figure of speech.

No, it isn't. But I can't tell you more of it than that... I'm not allowed.

But it... It makes it more difficult to go home, as well.

[He doesn't quite know how to put this.]

Do you think it's worth it?

[He sighs a little, looking back at the lake. There's a long silence, while he tries to figure out how to answer.]

He promised me my memories would be safe, this way. For me... that means a great deal.

So... maybe.

[He nods, thoughtful. He knew it was a personal choice, more than anything. But if the greatest downside is that it's harder to go home...

He doesn't have many ties to his old life anymore, just the same.]
