[It had started. If the strange electric feeling in the air hadn't clued him in, the fact that Dark Convoy had found him and talked with him would have cemented it. It had also given him an idea.]

When the dark touch of chaos touches your minds, come find me. I may not be able to cure you of your ills, but at least in studying your descent I may find the tools to understand it.

[He has no more to say, and so he waits to see if there are any takers.]

If this isn't the first time you've seen it then why are you still unable to provide them help? If you're so intent on learning and studying, why didn't you do it last time? You could be helping all these individuals now instead of condemning them to their fates!

[He's trying not to get angry or anything like that, because he doesn't like doing that, he really doesn't, but it's hard.

Because individuals like Ironfist are in the mix and as odd as things are between them at the moment..he doesn't want anything else to happen to the other.]

Well now you do know, now you have experience from the last time this happened and instead of treating them like science experiments and terrifying them more than they probably are, perhaps it's time we find another way to go about this.

There has to be another way. Another alternative that hasn't been thought of yet. Has anyone tried to put a glyph on them, or is that not something you all control? Is it something that just happens at random when we come through?

The Glyphs are not my purview, nor are they placed there by any of my brethren. It is not so simple as that.

[Rung flinches but--no, no he's not going to back down on this one. He can't--he refuses.

So you're just going to let them turn into these monsters that everyone is saying they're going to become? You're practically letting them suffer then. I understand what you're trying to do, really, I do, but aren't we beyond something like that? There are enough intelligent beings on this planet that we can find some other way instead of turning out friends into science experiments.

[He's seen enough of this in the past that he doesn't want it to continue; not here at least.]

Please. There has to be some other way. There has to be another alternative.

I can respect your desire to see things better for them, but it will avail them nothing. They will change, no matter what you or I do.

Standing aside and simply letting them do this is not in my nature.

[Rung..can't help but deflate a bit, not wanting to give up on this but, at the same time..what else can he do?]

....Do..you have to use them as lab rats though? Can't you just study them after death?

[He says it softly, not liking the idea of death either but..well..]

If I study them post mortem, then that erases any opportunity to save those that are still alive.

[Not that there is much of a chance, but there it is.]

It has been recommended that I show compassion, however, and this is an area which I am--at current--lacking in.

...If..you would allow me to work with you, I can show you. I think that would be the easiest way.

[He sends coordinates to the laboratory he intends to use.]
