[Broadcast to all]

[It had started. If the strange electric feeling in the air hadn't clued him in, the fact that Dark Convoy had found him and talked with him would have cemented it. It had also given him an idea.]

Brothers...sister. Be ready. The time is soon.

To all those lacking Glyphs, I extend an invitation to you.

When the dark touch of chaos touches your minds, come find me. I may not be able to cure you of your ills, but at least in studying your descent I may find the tools to understand it.

[He has no more to say, and so he waits to see if there are any takers.]

[There's a distinct pause as he finds himself making eye contact with the mobile cannon. He takes a moment to scrutinize the unusual lines and mechanisms on the artillery's outer surface. There were several small details that pointed to it be of alien make.]

[He guessed it would be less agile than the starship, but it was sufficient enough to deliver him from point to point, as long as it had some flight capability. The cannon begins to get scanned.]

[The sensation of transformation seams and metal components shifting to adjust was a rare one indeed. But soon enough, it was complete. A second copy of the artillery platform hovered by the original for a few seconds before it changes back. Time to make his way towards the exit.]

[As Shockwave turns, Liege is standing there, blocking the path. His arms are crossed behind his back.]

That one is a particular favorite of mine.

[He studies how the alt-mode has impacted Shockwave's build, and a mech as perceptive as Shockwave might notice the slightest of smooth purrs coming from his engine. It is not every day that someone is worthy enough to crack his codes.]

A Phelosian 'Night-Hammer.' Quiet, stealthy, and packing enough punch to level entire cities. Of course, it is a bit slow, but I don't believe that will be a hindrance to you.

[Shockwave glances up to make eye contact, listening quietly to Liege's explanation of what he had just absorbed into his frame. He had taken a mental note of the Firstforged's reaction to his choice, very much noticing that he appeared... pleased.]

[There's a thoughtful pause in kind, taking a moment to briefly analyze the new systems that began to feed back through his neural net, much like one would suddenly notice their breathing. Some were unfamiliar, but a closer inspection back in his lair could quickly amend that problem.]

The other choices you poised are also of alien make.

[As far as he could tell, anyway. He was honestly intrigued at the decision, considering alien alts were most often chosen out of necessity rather than preference. For various reasons.]

A Prysmos siege-tank, yes, and an Andellorian Prism cruiser. They were one of the first species to achieve starflight, you know.

[He'd been shocked, when he'd first encountered them, to find their technology nearly equivalent to his own. His dealings with them had been more than fruitful, in the long run.]

I store that I find which is of interest here. [He gestured to the rooms...and beyond, back down the hallway.] There is a reason why this temple is a maze, after all. I do not want most creatures tampering with the samples I bring back from my travels.

[His feet clack loudly on the floor as he steps closer, interested in viewing Shockwave from a better vantage point.]

The gamble I took on you seems to have paid off, however. Are you satisfied?

[What better way to test the melding of Cybertronian and Phelosian technology than this?]

[Samples? His gaze drifts away to the surroundings as Liege gestured to them, taking mental notes of these details. Were the other 'samples' as lucrative? A civilization that made a vehicles of this destructive magnitude is probably facing conflicts of its own. Ones that require drastic measures - a cocktail of circumstances that could cook up any number of interesting innovations.]

[A little more preparation could make navigating the maze quicker. Yes, he'd probably be back here again at some point. His attention is quickly pulled back to Liege as he closes the distance between them. Shockwave's own body language remained as faceless as his - well, 'face'. His internal systems were what are lit with activity.]

This will significantly offset predicted problems with regards to catching a live sample.

[A 'yes', in other words.]

Excellent.

[And to monitoring your progress. You may notice he's already taking a discreet scan of your systems--whether you wish to block this is, of course, up to you.]

Do you require assistance in navigating your way out?

[The question gets a pause as he becomes rather aware of the scan. The activity of some of the systems seem to settle, but otherwise it is left unabated.]

I can navigate from this point.

[Unless there was a second maze beyond that exit. A shortcut would be nice in that case.]

[Liege completes the scan and logs it for his own records, intending to consider it further, later, when the Glyphless have been dealt with.]

I shall leave you to do so, then.

[And without further ado--he simply vanishes.]
