Well.

Have Jetfire looking impressively blank as he leans against the workbench in his lab, arms folded over his chest.]

... If someone [since the mech who should be doing it isn't doing it] could help me unlock the door to my lab, I'd be... grateful.

[Briefly, the thin line of his lips tighten slightly and then he just sighs, static loud, before rubbing a hand over his faceplates.]

If you can do it without destroying the door, that would be preferable, but if not, I'll deal with it then.

[Have some coordinates to a building on a terrace on Liege's mountain.]

[Starscream stood with his arms folded across his chest.]

I can't believe that idiot is really thinking of doing something so completely stupid.

[He also was probably going off on a tangent about this for awhile. He might not have been very specific about what he was complaining about though.]

He most likely has his reasons for doing it, Starscream.

[The therapist gave the other a slight smile that faded into a thoughtful sort of expression afterwards, eyeing the other almost warily since, well, Starscream had cornered him and started ranting.]

Yes. He has an ego and thinks he's the only one who can do anything. He would throw himself into a smelting pit if he thought it'd further his knowledge in science.

[Yes, there was something ironic about Starscream saying someone else has an ego. No, he doesn't really take that into consideration.]

[If Rung were a different kind of bot, he might say something about that ego right now but he refrains, tilting his head a bit instead.]

Did you try talking him out of it instead of just getting upset with him, Starscream?

Talking wouldn't work. He'd still do it anyway. Action, is the only thing that gets results.

[Huff.]

It's extremely irritating!

[Talking of action... If Jetfire had been approaching like a flyer normally would, Rung and Starscream would have heard him a bit ago. As it is, however, with Jetfire using a move for which he was probably named, the huge jet only gives a few bare amounts of warning as he slams down from the air bringing Starscream to the ground with a reverberating crash.]

Starscream, we need to have a talk. [Looking up, despite the fact that he just came down like the several tens of tons of jet that he is on Starscream like the angry fist of Primus by having dived straight down from high up in the air, Jetfire looks... remarkably collected.]

Ah, Rung. I apologise for disturbing your.... er, conversation.

[Nevermind the way he's crouched over Starscream and making sure the Seeker can't turn around or move his arms (and thus his null-rays) any.]

Well everyone has--

[Whatever Rung had been about to say is interrupted by the arrival of Skyfire in possibly the most startling way possibly, the therapist jerking backwards when Starscream is suddenly slammed into the ground.

A hand over his spark, the therapist looks completely in shock for a second before managing to compose himself, smiling weakly--shakily.

Jetfire dear Primus you need to work on your entrance!]

It--no worries. Um--please...don't harm him..yes?

[The only noise Starscream made was a surprised sound followed by the thud of metal hitting the ground. Instantly he tried to turn around, only briefly pausing as he recognized the voice.]

How did you--Jetfire, get off of me this instant!

[There would be lots of flailing going on here. Who was it that let Jetfire out?! He was going to have a word with them.]

In a moment.

[Jetfire didn't do more than briefly glance down, and was thoughroughly unruffled by the attempts to turn over and the flailing as he looked over at Rung with a slight frown and a shake of his helm.]

Why would I? Being shot with the null-ray so he could lock me in for my own supposed safety was frustrating, yes, but not particularly harmful.

[And while Jetfire shifted and did let Starscream up, it was in the fashion of hauling the Seeker up against him, arms trapped.]

But that doesn't mean we're not going to discuss thing.

[The narrow stare he graced the top of Starscream's helm was positively withering.]

[Rung stared at the two, shifting a bit, debating whether or not it was worth it to try and get involved...

And in the end, he realized it wasn't.]

Right. Well...then I suppose I should, ah, leave you two alone so you can discuss things?

[He shot Starscream a slightly sympathetic look, the therapist really not about to try and get into this mess.

Plus Jetfire had said he wouldn't harm the other.]

I will...see you both around then.

[If his arms hadn't been trapped, Rung would have saw a lot of flailing from Starscream. As it was, he would just have to be happy with struggling instead.]

Jetfire, I swear if you do not let me go you are going to regret it!

Unhand me now!

[Not that he could do much about it being held the way he was.]

You don't have to leave, I was about to relocate us either way, Rung. Thank you.

[Jetfire looked from Rung with a dip of his helm and a faint smile, to the top of Starscream's helm and then a glance at the ground.]

Regret it like me telling you beforehand what I've agreed to try with Liege Maximo? No, I won't, Starscream.

[With that, and another nod to Rung, Jetfire literally relocated them... by igniting his thrusters and flying straight up in the air, far into the atmosphere... but he wasn't going to dive right down again and merely maneuvered Starscream around so they were face to face.]

You know, I do appreciate the sentiment and meaning behind it, but knocking me out and then locking me in, Starscream?

Don't do that again.

[Starscream seemed to ignore what Jetfire was saying -- he was too busy trying to escape from the larger jet's grasp. He'd probably have to hold him there for a few minutes longer before the Seeker would actually give up.]

Blast it, Jetfire! Release me! Now!

[Yeah. So not really listening.]

[Jetfire just gave the struggling Seeker a stare and then looked up at the sky.]

No, Starscream, I won't. Especially as you seem to prefer not to listen right now.

[He glanced down, his stare somewhat arch, before looking up again, attempting to actually view and recognise the star formations, the compositions of them he could make out from here and such, instead of the Lambda that dominated the skyline.]

[It took several seconds longer than it should, but he finally gave up with an exaggerated huff. He didn't say anything though -- a last bit of defiance at least.

In fact he was acting much like a small child would when they were upset and got mad. He wasn't really sulking, but he certainly still looked annoyed.]

[Of course Starscream wasn't sulking. Jetfire looked down a few moments after Starscream had stopped struggling, eyeing the frustrated Seeker and keeping his expression flat.

He might be somewhat amused at the close-to-protoform behaviour, but amusement didn't have any place right now.]

As I was saying... [Jetfire paused and looked away, the direction towards Liege Maximo's temple (and thus the lab Jetfire'd settled in in), before he looked back down at Starscream.]

Don't do that again, Starscream. [His grip tightened slightly, but it wasn't intended threat. Unless Starscream decided to be stupid. They could revisit the ground after all.] I'm... er, glad you care but locking me up is not the answer.

Fine. Whatever. Let me go.

[His gaze snapped back to Jetfire and he just sort of stared at him. At least he wasn't trying to get away. But like last time, they would probably not speak to each other for a few days until Starscream got over it.]

[Oh, he knew where this would lead. Old and familiar and Starscream would storm off the moment he let go. The first few times had been all about the scattered circumstances in the Academy when he'd put his foot down, usually about some method he didn't think Starscream ought to use... when they were working together at least.]

All right.

[Nonetheless, Jetfire took a few more moments before he shifted in the air and started to lighten his grip.]

You may want to turn on your flight systems now.

[Then, right before he let go, Jetfire leaned forward enough to brush a kiss on top of Starscream's helm.]

[Starscream snorted, but didn't respond other than that.

He just let himself drop a small bit before transforming to altmode and taking off.

Someday they may be able to get through a week without some sort of strange argument.]
