[Video][Failed Locks][Transmitting from the Hub, Action spam welcome][Backdated to early this week]
[It seems quite like this message was meant for specific people, but given the current state of the sender it's unsurprising that the delivery is more than a bit botched.]
[The video feed flickers on to a figure holding tight to the bartop's edge, every line of the body taut and quaking in obvious distress. It's Wing, keening behind clenched dentae as he's afflicted by some unseen form of suffering.]
J-Jetfire. We--we were right. I can feel it. He's... so-omething's wrong!
Ratchet, Ambulon, F-Firs--[A hissing vent as he grits his dentae.] He's hurt. please...someone help him. I-I can't--
[The video feed shakes as if the hands holding it tremble violently. Ragged venting triggered by phantom heat and fire is punctured by another cry of pain and distress, only half of it for himself. Wing's optics shutter tightly against the pain, real enough despite being not his own, forcing it back, trying to keep control.]
Drift...wh-where are you!? What's haaaa--!
[That's all he gets out before it overtakes him. He can no longer block out the sensations assaulting him over the remnant of his bond to Drift's Great Sword, as the other mech is violently consumed by flames somewhere far out of Haven. Another cry, a scream of horrible measure, crackling with static as he topples. There's a convulsion that scatters the video feed for a moment, the sound of jet's frame crashing to the ground audible. When the camera becomes still again it's a view of the star-strewn skylight in the bar's ceiling accompanied only by silence.]
((OOC: Wing won't be able to respond at first, so at the beginning action spam will be required--feel free to find him and help wake him up. If you want to tag a little "later on" when he's awake then he'll respond via comm.))

Wing?
[If one listens carefully enough the sound of Wing's systems can be heard--and to a medic's trained audio--not yet in full stasis but obviously traumatized.]
[ACTION SPAM WHOOSH]
Wing! It's Ambulon! Can you hear me? [He waves a hand over Wing's face] Can you see me? [He pushes a small wave of alarmed energy from his EM field, hoping it catches Wing's.] I'm here to help, you're going to be okay, just stay with me, stay with me. [Ambulon quickly opens his medkit, readying tools.]
[ACTION SPAM WHOOSH]
[There is no physical damage at all, but his EM field carries the telltale signs extreme trauma and pain that one would expect from someone who had suffered greatly. It's strange, though if one considers a moment, is not unusual in relation to rare cases of vicarious perception.]
[ACTION SPAM WHOOSH]
This might hurt a little.
[Ambulon stabs the needle into Wing's neck, releasing a shock of electricity right into his system. Praying, hoping it would be enough to jumpstart his idle processors.]
[ACTION SPAM WHOOSH]
[He's dazed, systems still coming back online, but he recognizes the medic and releases the tight grip immediately, offering a hushed apology.]
A-Ambulon...what...? Why I am...?
[He puts a hand to his forecrest, squinting, obviously still trying to process what's happened.]
[ACTION SPAM WHOOSH]
I'm not sure myself. You opened a transmission on the link. You were... panicking. About something. I think... [He paused, frowning.] I think about Drift? When you suddenly pleaded for help. You passed out from pain and... Well, here we are. [Ambulon offered to help Wing stand. Not entirely an offer, more, "you're not going to walk by yourself after that episode so let me help."] Do you know what might have caused your collapse? We should get to the clinic, run a scan on you. Make sure your vitals all check out.
Audio;
[Oh no. No, that's not good at all.]
Wing! Can you hear me! Please!
Video
Video
[Considering... he sits there. Calling Wing's name. In an attempt to wake him up.]
[He really should go. But -- he has to track the signal first. Give him a moment.]
Video
Video
Please...
[And, when that ultimately fails, he decides it's probably a good idea to track the signal.]
Video
[It's easy enough to find the location, that of the bar, which is pretty empty this time of night. The imagery from the video seems to confirm this as well.]
Video
[Like a chirping bird or something.]
[But he'll be there, looking somewhat frantically around the bar.]
Video/Action Kagerou you are the most adorable thing.
[Wing is collapsed near the back of the bar where he'd obviously been rearranging one of the supply cabinets. He looks uninjured, at least physically, though it's obvious he had no control over his fall. There a glass of half spilled energon on the bar near him, and his communicator lies on the floor nearby.]
Action | more like the saddest thing
[Forget going around things. He's small -- by Cybertronian standards. He is going to hop up onto the bar, and climb over it. He's just that concerned.]
[And regardless of what state the other robot is in, he's going to end up darting around him, again, like some kind of nervous mechanical bird.]
[Video] --> Action?
Wing! WING!!
...frag!
[Transforming, he streaks for the sky, heading for the Hub. With his afterburners kicked in, he'll arrive in minutes. At most.]
[Video] --> Action!
[Wing seems to be out pretty cold, give the lack of response and the way the video feed drones on. Though that is a good sign at least, the way his systems continue to hum.]
Action! - YAY 8D
[Thundercracker barely slows down as he drops altitude, transforms to land on his feet, and strides into the bar – seemingly all in one, smooth motion. He pauses only long enough to locate his target, then is crossing to drop to his knees and turn the other flyer over. The low hum of Wing's engine and the fact that he still has color are reassuring . . . but not by much.]
Wing . . . Wing, can you hear me?
Action! - LOL oh this could get funny real fast...
[Wing is unresponsive, and though his EM field still echoes with the jarring resonance of great physical trauma, he appears to be physically undamaged. It seems like all his higher functions have been knocked offline, or shutdown by safety protocols. Things might be a little scrambled since he's not rebooting on his own yet. That might come on its own in time, or a shock to the system or manual hard boot might do the trick.]
[Assuming one can find the right access panel amidst all the complex angles Crystal City seems to like to build into their mechs.]
LOL YEP....Aaaand school's done YAYY! 8D
[Thundercracker's not wholly unfamiliar with the idea of bonds and feeling the echo of someone else through it, though he wasn't aware of anything that could affect one this powerfully - not from his own reality - so it's not his first thought.]
Pit...
[He's no medic, but he's seen enough combat to have at least some working knowledge of field "first aid" . . . but with no evidence of trauma, he doesn't know where to begin trying to help his friend. Except . . . to wake him up and just ask him what happened. But . . . HOW?]
[Knelt beside the fallen Knight, he'll gingerly start checking seams and opening panels here and there trying to find a way to help Wing wake that much sooner.]
Wooooo!! :D
[It's still enough to fool his processor and confuse his systems enough to knock him out like this though.]
[Wing's chassis design is complex enough that it might take a bit of exploration before Thundercracker's search reaches success. And granted, if anyone walked in and observed this, the Seeker might have some explaining to do.]
[But if the other jet is patient enough, he'll find an access hatch that flips up in Wing's collarplate, revealing a panel with various medical ports and buttons. Given the glyphs labeling then, it's pretty easy to guess what needs to be done to force a reboot.]
no subject
[Video]
Wing! Please respond!
[There's a pleading note there, Rung looking unsure whether or not he should go find the other.]
[The video feed drones on, but that is at least a good sign, one that confirms Wing's systems are idling in the background and not fully offline. It's something, at least, even if he can't respond.]
[video - later on since blurr was busy himself.]
Jetfire was right about wh...Wing? Wing can you tell me where you are!?
[But there's definitely a strain, a tense, agitated way he holds himself.]
Blurr...? Blurr! Have...have you seen Drift anywhere? I--I need to know that he's safe!
[He seems to realize that he's probably babbling frantically, and he cycles a vent.] It happened again, like when we were underground. When I could feel Drift's emotions. Jetfire and I, we figured out what it was. I'm--[how to sum up this complicated situation?]--I'm linked to him, through the Great Sword he carries.
Something terrible's happened to him! [It's hard to hide the panic in his voice.]
Wing you need to calm down or you might hurt yourself. So that was the connection? The Sword? Uhm Drift is...he's not...Ultra Magnus reported that her died, but I don't know how happened exactly. Rodimus wan involved.
[video] /a bit later
Not good. Are you all right? Still in the Hub, or elsewhere?
[He sighs, optics narrowing.]
While it's certainly interesting and good to have our theories confirmed, I would have preferred it happen in another way...
[video] :D
I...I think so. I'm still here. It's...I can walk, but that's all that's safe really.
[Which means he can't go out looking for Drift, something that's driving him crazy.]
Jetfire, I...any way would have been preferable. [He squeezes his optics shut for a moment.] I just, wish I knew what happened. Whatever is was...it couldn't have been. Good.
[Which is problematic. Given the strength of Wing's broadcasted reaction, technically astroseconds would have counted and he's already late... Jetfire's expression tightens.]
I can look for him, unless you need me to come over? What was it you did get from the... er, link?
[Insensitive, perhaps, but even if they now have confirmation of some sort... Really, only that "the past and the present versions of the Swords are linked", it doesn't really pin down what type it is.]
[He shakes his head, not liking the implications suddenly.] Rodimus...
[Again he shakes his head, this time bowed in the cradle of his hands as a distressed sound slips out.]
I--I'll be fine. If you can? [He doesn't know if searching will do any good but hates not being able to try.] Worry or anxiety, distress, then shock, pain, heat--terrible heat...agony...
...betrayal.
[He shudders, the flight panels on his back clattering and he vents deeply several times.]
Certainly. If he is in danger... or even if it's too late already, he should at least have someone looking.
[With that, the view shifts, shakes and then stills as the motion and vibration of Jetfire taking off from the ground is compensated for.]
That does sound worryingly specific and not particularly good, however... It seems you're not just picking up emotions, but simulated and reflected physical responses as well?
[Which... could actually explain why Wing would be forced offline as not just emotions, but the reason/physical input for those emotions were reflected in Wing as well. Non-substantial and without a cause of their own Wing's frame, sensors and processors had still obviously taken Drift's relayed reactions as their own, through the spark connection still present via the Sword.]
