Seems we're on the home planet of a synthetic race that call themselves Cybertronians. Most of them are non-hostile, but there isn't much food or supplies around for organics.

[Not something geth really have to worry about. But he's going to be looking for a solution to that soon, for obvious reasons.]

I'm going to see if some of the locals will help me find a more permanent solution. Scavenging around the junk pile and risking an allergic reaction isn't exactly my idea of a viable food source.
