[There's a loud rumbling as the screen shakes and flashes between dark colours and light. Eventually there's a loud breaking sound and light fills the screen. Once the video focuses there's the face - if you can call it a face - of a giant tentacled worm like creature. For those of you that haven't met the Driller, meet the Driller. It drops a large metal bar on the ground, the saw blade on a tentacle spinning. Fetch maybe?]

[Or maybe it just wants treats while Shockwave is busy with other things.]

[It takes a moment for the Driller to catch sight of the purple faced bot, but as soon as it does it dives off the building, drills and blades out and slips back under the surface. The building that was its perch not looking all that great.

Within a few moments its bursting up through the ground once more, puffing itself up and leveling its head with the balcony.]

[Tarn doesn't have a lot of time to wonder if this was entirely a good idea... which is probably for the best, because it never even crossed his mind.

He does take a steadying step backward when Drilly here, busts upward though, because hoo boy, would you look at that mass.]

Hello there. I believe you were wanting a treat?

[In one hand he's holding a full, unopened energon cube.]

[When you're the pet of one of the largest 'Cons in your world, you tend to be bred big.

The sight of the energon cube makes the creature extend some tentacles, its fangs rotating. Treat!]

[He casually tosses it over the creature's head.]

[There goes the energon and there goes the Driller, flopping back and using its tentacles to grab and shove the cube in its mouth. It doesn't even seem to notice when it hits the ground with a thud.]

[He waits a bit and then calls down:]

Come here and get another.

[militarybred]

[Driller lifts its head, rising itself up again, a tentacle worming its way towards Tarn's arm.]

[The cube's bounced enticingly in his hand]

To get this one, you'll need to show me a trick.

[Its head rolls one way and then the other. Trick? It's been bred for military purposes, and given who its owner is tricks weren't really something it's ever needed to do. Or that it really knows how to do. It lets out a low rumbling growl, a few blades on its tentacles starting up.]

Hmm. That's not good enough.

Here. Put an arm here.

[He gives the far edge of his balcony railing a tap.

Let's see if/how this creature handles precision]

[Driller lets out a unsatisfied hiss, but sets a tentacle down where instructed.]

[Tarn reaches over to give the limb a pat, and maybe pick it up with his free hand, if he can.]

[Oh Tarn, honey. Drillers are very good with following orders, especially this one.

No need to pick it up as the tentacle just curls itself around the hand. Treat now? It stares expectantly.]

[Driller whines, it wants its treat. The tentacle recoils with another whine, and its head rolls, inching closer towards Tarn.]

Driller, Tarn is going to make you FAT.

[What a cute little noise! That sounded positively unhappy!
Tarn's going to adopt the HELL out of you, mate.]

Your recognition of authority and good behaviour is noted. You deserve a prize for that.

[He takes his time inspecting what he assumes is a head, and then looks over that tentacle for a few minutes longer before he puts the new cube down, balancing it on top of the creature's one limb.]

[That head perks up. Prize. Prize is treat? Prize sounds like treat... THERE IS A TREAT ON ITS TENTACLE! Almost immediately the tentacle curls around it, and it's tossed into the creature's mouth. A few other tentacles extend out to try and coil around the Cybertronian's waist.]

Shockwave gets his Driller back, and by that time it is fat and lazy.

Just what do you plan to do with those? While a treat, certainly, I am not edible.

[At the same time, Tarn is surprisingly touchy for an evil robot.]

But if you wish to show your thanks, I can allow it. Damage me, however, and you'll come to regret the mistake.

[In other words: hugs are A-OK! Probably!]

[Silly Tarn, all Cybertronians are edible. At least they are to its kind. But this is a fellow Decepticon, so things are okay, there's no eating to be done here. Unless it's of treats.

It lets out a long rumble in response, tentacles carefully wrapping around Tarn and pulling him up off the balcony. Keep. It will keep the treat giving Decepticon face Decepticon.]

Rrrrrrggh.

[Driller curls itself up, setting Tarn down atop it, tentacles still resting around him. Yes. Keep.]

Oh. My. God. You can't just. Scold people for their weight Shockwave. I mean, check your privileges!

[Driller's careful movements are slow enough that Tarn is able to snatch a couple extra cubes on his way up.

.... Aaaaaand now he's not 100% sure what is happening. This was not what he envisioned when the Driller went in for tentacly hugs. Clearly this little habit needs to be beaten trained out of the critter.]
