[She hadn't really thought she'd need to consider this so soon after arriving, but she did, if nothing else, need lay the groundwork... and branch out of this got nothing concrete.

So here, have a brief image on the screen of what's clearly a reflection of Elita on a slab of metal somewhere in Solus' temple large enough to actually give a full-body view. This doesn't last more than a few seconds before the screen is turned back to face Elita again, however.]

Are there any others around of a similar height and mass as myself, who posseses an altmode?

[Two rows of short text gets added, which is basically just Elita's height and mass, because she does not possess more than limited size-changing capbility and can thus not take on an altmode that matches that.]

The recent situation made it clear I need to at least consider finding another altmode... and I'm not sure the Junk Pile would be helpful in that matter.

[But she might have to go looking there anyway, she's aware as her few most recent altmodes have all been boats for various reasons.]

Starscream? [This was... unexpected. Elita's optic narrow and she tilts her helm; more incredulous than actually suspicious because this is rather... strange.]

And what would you get out of that?

[A beat as she stares, quiet. And then... soft, low laughter, because really?]

I didn't quite think you'd be this... charming.

[Her expression is mostly straight, because she's just pretty surprised at even this vaguely sort of successful flirting. Not from Starscream. It's amusing, even if she doesn't give too much for flirting on its own.]

Oh, you'll find that I'm a lot of things.

[He totally just grins.]

Besides a high-ranked, murderous Decepticon officer?

[Elita tilts her helm, expression and voice implying merely polite inquiry. It's admittedly hard not to smirk.]

You forgot 'extremely good looking' in your list there.

Oh, of course. That part was so obvious it must have blinded me.

[Starscream, are you attempting to hit on yourself, or Elita here?]

Soooo. Do you have a name? Since you know mine and all.

And we need a proper introduction.

[She pauses mostly for the "need a proper introduction", shaking her helm.]

Elita One. And I don't know, we've both introduced ourselves now; that's not proper enough?

I was thinking of something more along the lines of hanging in person. Y'know, get to know one another better.

[Excuse her for a moment as she just stares, and then, slowly, shakes her helm, something of a smile (sharp and dry) on her faceplates.]

Really? And what do I owe this interest to?

[While he is using the "get to know you better by talking to you", she's not all that sure she believes that. On the other hand, it might be amusing to go through with it.]

You can just say, I find you rather intriguing.

[It's probably not a good idea to believe him, Elita.]

Flattering, I suppose [she angles her helm sharply and gives him an arch stare] but no. Not right now, anyway, being that I was kind of concentrated on other things at the moment.

[And she should probably be a bit more cautious and sound out this Starscream who looks exactly like the one from her own reality, and sounds very similar, and not go meet him within a few minutes of first talking to him.]

Then we'll just say that you owe me a rain check for our date.

... Yes, we'll say so.

[It's lucky that phrase exists more or less exactly as that in cybertronian, otherwise she'd ben confused.]

I don't think an introduction in person is a date, though.

Perhaps because I might not feel like you're... ah, dating material? Even just once.

[Considering the screen she's got flipped up on one hand to facilitate the video, Elita does well enough to simulate crossed arms by just folding her free arm underneath the other one.]

With what I've seen so far, both here and elsewhere, I feel quite confident in saying you're similar enough to my own Starscream [if a fair bit wittier, admittedly] that I don't feel like getting to know you... intimately.

Now you've just gone and hurt my feelings.

And my spark shudders at that prospect. Terribly sorry, Starscream.

[Not really, though, and she's almost smirking.]

Then you should make it up to me by reconsidering that date.

Oh, I'm not that sorry. I'm sure you're a big mech and can handle a bit of sparkache.
