That does indeed seem to be the case... I believe the Firstforged have intimated having the ability to draw our sparks at the time of death to be able to restore them to our frames... remade or new.

I wasn't planning to, given that something this tiny have to, by size restrictions, remain simple. Anything larger would require more intricacy, complexity and thus a greater risk for errors, harmless or dangerous.
