[Video][A friend lost and a strange light Shining]
[McCrane is on a late patrol, in the junk-yard at night. With the horrors of the Glyphless catastrophe over and all of the paperwork filed, he has been searching for two things: One, the materials to build a soccer-goal, and two...]
Has anyone seen Gunmax?
[He's worried. He's always worried, of course, but now he looks more worried than usual. He turns, and for a moment the camera catches a small ball of light hovering over a silver-wrapped box with a gold bow. Curious, McCrane approaches, and the light moves out of the video, as does the box.]
I am also wondering about Barricade, as he has been gone for several weeks now. I don't know if keeping track of the populace is part of our Law Enforcement duties, but...it should be done. [McCrane reaches down, and suddenly the silver box pops back into view while he holds it. It's still remarkably well-lit for this time of night, but that may be because there's that small ball of light, shining on it again.]
And now it looks like I'll have to add Whirl onto the list, too. [He fingers the nametag, turning it toward the camera. Today was strange enough, but it looked as if it was going to get stranger.]
Is anyone else encountering unusual lights?
[It reminded him of Drill Boy's mythical fairy.]

[It reminded him of Drill Boy's mythical fairy.]
VIDEO;
[He's beginning to suspect you might not be the KO he thought you were, though. You're in much better condition.]
A phantom?
VIDEO;
You don't know what's a ghost?
VIDEO;
[He thinks for a moment, and then looks back at the light.]
A ghost?
It does fit the descriptions...
What could it want, then?
VIDEO;
Maybe he was killed in another life and now he wants you to execute his vengeance.
VIDEO;
[Robots can't blush, but McCrane does shift ever-so-slightly at his own straightforward answer.]
He is a valued member of the team, and...
[And.]
...he's picked the wrong mech for vengeance.
[For the most part.] What sort of vengeance, do you suppose?
VIDEO;
I have no doubt that he's very valued to you.
Why that? What happened to Gunmax?
[Knock Out's shrugs.] Do I look like a ghost expert? Sorry, I can't really tell you.
VIDEO;
Losing anyone at all would be impossible.
[He stares at the ball for a moment, and then nods]
I'll try communicating--
[Which would be a lot easier, if the ball did not just mysteriously flicker out.]
My communications may have broken down prematurely.
VIDEO;
[Knock Out stares at it too.] If you come to the medbay and that things follow I can try to run a scan on it.
VIDEO;
[He almost says 'you can refer to my schematics for more detailed information,' but he stops himself in time. That had been for the benefit of the news, before, he is just used to saying it by now.]
If it is still bothering me when I've wrapped up here, I will gladly do so. Where are you located?
VIDEO;
[Knock Out would have raised an eyebrows at that.]
Good boy. You can ind me at Solus's temple.
VIDEO;
[Its still normal for him.]
I appreciate it, Knockout. You have my thanks.
[Even if being addressed like a pet was a little awkward. Still, you are an alien, and thus have an excuse.]
VIDEO;
[True.]
Not a problem, McCrane.
[Get used to it, Knock Out will use the familiarity again, most likely.]
