[Drift's been running a perimeter of the Badlands for a few days now, on the lookout for Megatron's mysterious attacker, as he'd promised. It's been...good, getting away, and just lapping miles under his wheels, in that almost zen-like focus of driving. And it's given him an idea.]

You know what this place needs? [He is excited so he will just rush to the answer.]

It needs a good race track. Not one of those just...oval things, but a fun one, with sharp turns and slopes and different surfaces. Like rallycross, on Earth.

[He catches sight of the figure turning. And then there's a long moment where he does nothing, merely watching, waiting to see if it attacks or bolts. He drops down to one knee, at the top of the ridge.]

[Staring intently towards the other, X-23 remains still and on guard as it does nothing but watch her in return. As the figure moves, she drops both arms to her sides, but then stalls once more as she realizes that it has shifted down to one knee without any sign of weaponry activation.]

[Confusion sets in quickly and heavily.]

[Drift is tense, ready to move, but Megatron had told him he didn't think that whoever attacked him was bad. Just frightened and lashing out. If there's anything Drift could relate to, it was lashing out from fear.]

I hope so. It'd be fun to have an actual and challenging race track available. It was a long time ago I had the chance to use one of those...

[The words 'Cybertronian' and 'Cybertron' are quite alien to her, but her curiosity regarding them is quickly set aside. She takes up a defensive stance with a step and bend of her arms, but for the moment, does not extend her claws. She wants to make her point without inciting a fight she has little chance of winning in her current state.]
