rstlsslegsyndrm: the tears of a leg (y-y no one listens to me SIGH)

[Video - naturally, locked from Tarn... for now]

[Oh, look, it's Ambulon again. And he's... purple and blue? His original paint coat looks pretty awful and faded, but he's really not interested in doing anything about it, naturally. He's trying not to look worried, so it's the usual expression of ennui.]

Has anyone seen or heard from Drift? I've tried his place at Vector's temple, but he's not there. Tried asking any of the acolytes around the place, and they seem equally clueless. Any messages have gone unanswered.

I'm... [really concerned/frustrated, but no, no need to say that] I need to see Drift, you see, for a follow-up on recent repairs. He was suppose to check in earlier, but... Well, here we are. If he's gone and over-exerted himself, he might have re-opened his wounds.

If anyone's seen him, please let me know.

---

You and Vandal appear to be the closest to Drift. I've tried speaking with Vandal, but it seems she's busy. I haven't heard much from you on the link, either, so... I'm not sure if you'll receive this message, but on the off chance you do, please tell me Drift's with you and everything is okay. That neither of you have gone and done something stupid.

[With some effort] I'm concerned about him. With Tarn here, our confrontation, and his death... [and he curses] Just let me know if you have any information.

---

You... Have you done anything with Drift?

[It's a valid concern]

[ooc: permission from drift-mun to make this post! uvu a kick off start to the recent event, hopefully?]

I could keep an optic out, but even with speed there's a lot of area to cover... and I'll keep out of the nearest Badlands.

[She pauses then and looks Ambulon over. Well, what she can see anyway. The faded look's sort of awkward, but the colours themselves...]

Would you need energon to make the colours brighter again, or how does that work for you? That's a nice colourscheme, by the way.

[But she's not going to pry as to why he'd covered it up initially.]

Not necessarily. If he can be found, we'll find him, but... [She pauses as well, frowning.] There's no proof, but it happened once, so it could happen again. It could be Tarn, or it could be something like the Calling. But this time he might not have had the presence of mind to make some sort of comment.

[And despite the seriousness of the conversation, Elita smiles a little.]

A bit, perhaps, and while it might not be important now, given the situation... Relaxing might do you good, but I suppose letting your... actual? [her helm tilts here in inquiry] colour scheme show completely would be part of that.

No way to know, but... Well. It's a distinct possibility given that it's happened before, and with the attack that happened early on, soon after the first of us arrived. Would Tarn give some sort of notice, or would he keep quiet if he had Drift?

[Another smile, even if there's a frown hovering about her optics.]

Let's combine it with that visit to the energon pools we've not had yet, perhaps? And it suits you.

The rules, yes. Since he'd obviously be flouting them if he made some sort of annuncement and Drift would be anything but unharmed...

[Which is not good. Not that Tarn making an announcement would be good either, but at least they'd know.]

I'll have a look, see if I can find some sort of trace of him... I'll meet you in the corridor that leads to the washrack and pools in a cycle or so?

[Then she realises that, ahem, they might not think of the same thing when it comes to "cycle" and static briefly fuzzes her vocaliser.]

Around two hours, I mean.
