[ For being a masked mech, he's radiating his confusion pretty well. His optics are wide, shoulders tense, and by his hesitant stance it's clear he's approaching the Link with the same amount of caution as someone would a dud bomb. ]

[ He pauses. Nothing happens. Some of the tension melts out of his posture. ]
Oh, good. I'm First Aid and I'm a nurse. I'm not supposed to be here. I'll try and help out where I can, but I'm not sure how I can help the... situation at least.
[ He fidgets his hands. ]
I'm looking for two medics by the name of Ambulon and Pharma. They're my bosses. They're about this tall--
[ He raises his hand to two different heights. He's not the biggest of mechs, so he's making it obvious they're taller than him. ]
-- and both are painted, ah, well they both have red and white. Pharma has quite a bit of blue.
[ He rubs the back of his helm where it connects to his neck, pressing hard into tense servos. ]

[ The whole blame thing is another story. First Aid tilts his head a little to the side. ]
That's unusual. How did anyone get your swords? Are you sure?

[Professional bonding, and all. ].
But Liege gave him an Acolyte. So that helps. A bit.
[All of that probably makes no sense. But now for a frown. ].
I don't know. I must have passed out and someone took them from me.
[That's the only thing Drift can think of. Because why would he try to attack Pharma? ]

[ He doubts it. ]
That's good! Er. I think?
[ Yeah, he doesn't know what you're talking about, Drift. But that aside, First Aid rubs the 'nose' ridge of his mask as he thinks. ]
...But how is that possible? Those monoformers didn't seem like they could handle a sword like that.

[ Drift doesn't really like that logic, honestly. ].
But someone must have. I didn't cut them off!

[ Somehow he doubts Pharma is likely to be satisfied with anything though. ]
I- I wasn't implying that! I just think it's strange, that's all. Things both you and I don't remember. I wonder what went on...?

[It makes some kind of sense, right?]
I wish I knew, because he seems really upset about it.
What's the last thing you remember?

[ In a junk pile? I guess that made sense. Maybe. ]
Er. The last thing I remember?
[ Disobeying all advice, that's what he remembers. ]
The monoformers had escaped and attacked Pharma. I got help. [ In the form of a giant angry ex-warden. ]

Help. [A stir of memory. ]. The big one. Fortress Maximus.
[ He sort of remembers that.]
And Pharma was hurt, right?

Yep! That's him. My jumpstarter was a success and--
[ Well, he did disobey his superiors and such. Maybe he shouldn't be so excited. Instead, he nods. ]
Pharma was injured. I'm not sure how badly.

...I hope there's more out there.
[Because they were good mechs and had burned a lot of it on that attack against the sharkticons, when they could have stayed away, out of the fight ]
And?
[First Aid, Drift is the last person to hold disobeying orders to do something incredibly badass against someone else. ]
Huh. Well, we know he survived, at least. Just without hands.

[ To be honest, this is a little exciting. It's his own little adventure with less bullets and plague and such. ]
Just happy I was right, that's all.
[ First Aid rubs a palm over his helm. ]
Was he handless then? I mean, I might have missed that in the chaos... [ Not sure why he's asking. You were melting there. ] I suppose it doesn't matter.

[Drift's way of suggesting that digging through junk should be left to the grunts like himself. ]
I just wish they had another fuel source.
[Drift shakes his head. ].
I don't think so. I mean he had them when you arrived so it must have happened after that.
And after I passed out. [When whoever it was took his swords. ]

Ratchet said something about performing an alteration on an alien mechanoid's engine. I volunteered to help.
[ Just trying to be helpful. ]
Hmmm. [ Both of them have gaps in their memory. What happened? ] It's just... strange we both don't remember.

You're more useful there, then.
And hopefully, you'll be comming me to tell me I can stop looking for gasoline.
[A job he'll be glad to leave behind if it means the Brave Police won't starve.]
[Drift shrugs. It's not that strange he doesn't remember: he was, you know, dying of plague at the time. You, however...?]
Maybe zapping Fort Max did something to your memory?

[ Oh, that's worrying though. ]
It should have been completely safe! But... maybe there could have unpredicted... side affects.

[It's a statement of confidence, but also serious. If they can't figure it out, the Brave Police might die.]
[No pressure or anything.]
Nothing's completely safe. Especially something you've never tried before.
[Drift knows nothing about medicine but he does know about being risky and reckless.]
Make sure Ratchet checks you out, though. [Because just because Drift is terrified of Ratchet doesn't mean he's going to spare someone else the same experience if they need it.]

[ He lays a hand over his chest, directly over where his spark chamber would be. ]
Pharma already asked to examine me. I'm sure he'll be thorough.

You brought Fortress Maximus back. Don't underestimate yourself. No one else could have done that.
[You will accept his compliment or else!]
[He nods.] Pharma is good. He already made a cure for the Red Rust. Without hands!

I just did what I thought I should do.
[ Speaking of Pharma... ]
About that. Pharma would really like it if you went to see him so he can check on you.

Sometimes you need to trust your instincts. [He smiles. Oh you can't evade the compliments, medic. You're 75% less scary than Ratchet and that deserves recognition.]
[And Drift droops.] I'll. Yes. I should go. I'm just really not good with medbays.

You don't need to. I can handle it.
[Sort of.] Besides you have other important things to do.
[Than to make sure Drift keeps his appointments.]
