[ VIDEO ][ ORIGIN: Megatronus Prime's Temple ]
[ For being a masked mech, he's radiating his confusion pretty well. His optics are wide, shoulders tense, and by his hesitant stance it's clear he's approaching the Link with the same amount of caution as someone would a dud bomb. ]
...Hello?
[ He pauses. Nothing happens. Some of the tension melts out of his posture. ]
Oh, good. I'm First Aid and I'm a nurse. I'm not supposed to be here. I'll try and help out where I can, but I'm not sure how I can help the... situation at least.
[ He fidgets his hands. ]
I'm looking for two medics by the name of Ambulon and Pharma. They're my bosses. They're about this tall--
[ He raises his hand to two different heights. He's not the biggest of mechs, so he's making it obvious they're taller than him. ]
-- and both are painted, ah, well they both have red and white. Pharma has quite a bit of blue.
[ He rubs the back of his helm where it connects to his neck, pressing hard into tense servos. ]

[ Still. Earth mechanoids. That's actually pretty exciting. ]
Ah, yes. But this doesn't really look like a war zone. I imagine that work will be slow.
[ Which means he better find a new hobby. I mean, he could probably find some datapads somewhere to download 'Wreckers: Unclassified' to, but first that means finding them. ]
[She gestures outwards and then touches her own chestplate.]
And I haven't even met the Prime where I'm from until right before I came here.
[Her smile at that comment is small and tight, cynically amused.]
You'd think... or perhaps hope so, but just a few days ago we had what could best be described as monsters falling from the Lambda to Haven. It wasn't as bad as it could have been, but that might have been pure luck.
I met a Ratchet that wasn't the one I know.
[ He jerks slightly in surprise. ]
Wait, so this place just has random attacks from things falling from the sky?
It's strange, isn't it? At this point I'm not sure if I would want, or not, to meet alternate versions of the mechs I've been travelling with.
[On the one hand, familiar faces. On the other... completely unfamiliar individuals and it'd be like this... thing with OPtimus Prime. Elita shakes her helm, barely able to keep the grimace in.]
I think all of us fell from that... somehow? That's what caused us to be dragged here, anyway, and there's a giant pile of garbage from, apparently, other dimensions as well in the middle of the Haven.
[She shrugs.]
So, I suppose, why not creatures that attack us?
[ In other words, he's suggesting it's something they'll likely have to get used to. ]
Oh. Sweet. Monsters from another dimension.
[ He shrugs. ]
I'm beginning to regret any feelings I've ever had about 'gee, my life is really dull'.
[Getting used to it will probably be easier than dealing with it, really.]
I think I saw a holovid like that once.
[She manages to keep her expression straight... for a few moments, until the smile breaks through.]
At least you seem to be dealing rather well? Others would already have broken, if only momentarily.
[Not that it's necessarily any consolation.]
[ That gets a small laugh out of him. ]
I think I've seen one similar to this too.
[ That's a compliment, right? First Aid just looks down. ]
It's a bit much to deal with, but breaking down doesn't help the circumstances. Nor does it make me very useful.
[It's not quite as amusing being stuck with it happening in reality, but at least they had powerful help that had taken on the most dangerous of the creatures... at least as far as they knew.
Nonetheless, First Aid's laughter - however brief - is infectious, even though she sobers up soon enough.]
You know, for someone who claims they've had a dull life, you've got your processor in the right place... [And yes, it had been a compliment.] But then, I suppose that's what war does, if you've dealt with it even peripherally... [She tilts her helm, partly curious, partly serious.]
Or is it a medic thing?
[ First Aid's a little bit more relaxed, but definitely sobered. He makes a small thoughtful hum, then shrugs again. ]
They say some of the best medics are those who can keep it together in an emergency situation but. I'm just a nurse. So I don't know.
[At that, Elita's optics narrow slightly, and then she shakes her helm.]
And while I'm unsure about the finer points and differentiations there, you're still a medic and thus a member of the medical staff... [Her helm tilts.] And in some cases, if a nurse means you're support to the medic doing the other jobs, I'd say that it's just as important the support is calm and collected as the other.
[What's this silly thing about "just", First Aid? Not that... "nurses" exist in her reality, so to her that doesn't really mean anything and she has to extrapolate and listen to the variation and modification of the word "medic" that gets used.]
