[Accidental Video][Transmitting from Vector's Quad][Backdated][Action Welcome!]
((ooc: This occurs the night before the bugs start popping up in Haven. Action is welcome, Drift may wake up after this broadcast))
[The video comes on and at first it's difficult to tell exactly what's happening, except that it's obvious this broadcast wasn't quite intentional. Even in the dim light, the view looks like the one of the rooms at Vector's tower. The communicator, it seems, has been knocked to the floor, giving a slightly askew view of the room's only door.]
[Somewhere off-screen there's some shuffling, footsteps and a nervous voice, bordering on the edge of fear.]
Drift... What is going on? Talk to me... Drift please!
[A form comes into view: it certainly looks like Drift, even in the dark, but does not move like him. The staccato rhythm of his steps is odd, as is the slight downwards cant to the helm and the way the optics--dilated large behind the cyan glass--seem to gaze unseeing. He arrives at the door, simply standing for a moment. When it does not open immediately, a hand raises to the access panel. There's a flash of blurred white and red that fills the screen then, something passing in front of the camera to interpose. Wing, grabbing the wrist, squeezing himself between Drift and the door.]
Where are you going? Talk to me! Drift, Wake up!
[The harsh demand is punctuated by a violent shake. But it's fruitless and Wing looks away with a hissing curse. It's then that he notices the communicator.]
Does anyone know what's going on? [He's trying to stay calm, but there's a part of him that's failing.] Is there maybe a medic out there with a sedative...or something? Maybe some rope? I don't want to hurt him.

It wasn't swear-y enough /)_(\
Just. Yeah hold on.
Vandal definately has a minimum red language requirement. ;3
[Wing isn't going to say what they were up to, but suffice it to say the sudden shift was more than a little bit disturbing.]
He keeps trying to...leave. I don't understand!
She kind of does.
I'm on my way.
no subject
[Even if Drift is struggling against Wing's hold, thankfully it's not at the swordmech's normal strength and skill level. It should be pretty easy for Vandal to recognize Drift's room.]
I'd come get you but, I'm afraid to leave him.
[video]--->[Action]?
[video]--->[Action]!
And maybe...if you can find some rope?
[video]--->[Action]
[ Roughly twenty minutes later she comes hobbling-limping into the room.]
[Action]
Thank you for coming. [He's a little bit beside himself, so the relief at having some help is clear.]
[Action]
No problem Wing-o.
Now here's what we're gonna do. I'm going to stasis him. It will slow him down to a crawl in most movements for about thirty seconds.
And then you take this rope and hog-tie him.
[ She sure does have a rope hooked into her toolbelt. She thought this through. ]
[Action]
Yes, okay.
[Except...]
...hog-tie?
[Action]
You tie his hands to his feet.
[ She motions like that will help somehow. ]
Anyways on three okay?
One... two...
[Action]
Are you sure he's even that...flexible?
[But he doesn't get much chance to argue, because there she goes with the countdown.]
[Action]
Three!
[ She uses the Stasis Module in her Rig to send a wave of it towards Drift, encasing him in a blue light and making him appear to have been slowed down in time.
She tosses the rope to Wing. ]
Get'im!
[Action]
[Then he seems to realize he's wasting time. He gently sweeps both Drift's feet, making sure that he's lowered gently yo the ground. Then he goes about, well, trying to approximate Vandal's example. In hindsight, maybe stasis cuffs would have been better.]
You know...I really would have preferred the circumstances of this particular activity to have been different...
[Action]
[ She agrees without a second thought, standing akimbo to watch Wing work. ]
[Action] I am also going to remember to track this thread because I r smert.
[Action] Hey this is a grand idea
Drift...?
[He looks from the back of Drift's helm to Vandal, who can probably see better.]
[Action] .../also does this
Drift? You there? Hey! Wake up!
[Action] /starts a trend /is cool now
Wing? [He sounds confused, but not particularly upset. If he does sound upset it's because he's worried that he may have slept through the good part.]
....why's Vandal here?
[Action]
[Drift certainly sounds and feels like he's back to normal, so Wing starts picking loose the bindings. Really, he only wishes this were the good part. Though hey, look, he has rope now. Vandal won't mind if he just keeps this right?]
Ah, she came to help me. [He couldn't quite handle you by himself Drift.] You aren't going to wander off are you?
[Action]
[ Vandal walks over and sits by Drift's head, reaching out to pat him. ]
Can someone tell me what the hell is even going on?
[Action]
[Action]
You just, suddenly got up and tried to leave. You went...distance and cold, completely unresponsive... [He rubs the back of his helm, clearly baffled and unsatisfied with that description. This is wholly out of his experience.]
[Action]
[ Yep it's hug time. ]
God damn I was worried about you so bad.
[Action]
C-can you untie me?
[He would like to return the Vandal hug.]
