Should anyone happen to come across anything even remotely scientific in nature -- equipment, chemicals, and the like -- I would be grateful for the notification.

[Most of the debris have been cleared out by now, though. It's just barren and the huge hole is still in the floor -- but half of it has been covered again by flooring.]
