So! It's just occurred to me that there are a few human kids hanging around. I dunno about you, but that's a bit disconcerting! This tells me that there could be more hanging around. Unbelieveable, right?

Here's the deal. I'm looking for a kid in particular. Short hair, roughly eleven years old, wears a yellow jacket, and he tends to shout Deckerd's name a lot. Something like DEKKADOOOO or whatever, got it? Especially if you bring up ghosts.

...Boss, if you're out there, we're looking for you, all right? We have our badges, so call us. You'll worry Deckerd sick, okay?

But in other news, I guess I ought to introduce myself. Call me Gunmax. That way if you see me leaving you in the dust, you know who to remember for it.

Well, we call it a motorcycle where we're from. She's also got a name -- it's Gunbike.

[Gunmax steps off of the bike and kneels down, grinning at the Avatar.]

All right, so we have a few things for you; McCrane gave me some food to hand over as well. Don't gorge all at once, you're gonna wanna spread this sort of thing out as far as you can, okay?

"Motorcycle," huh? [Korra tilts her head, tries to covertly edge close to get a better peek at it. She's not good at being covert.] Were yours invented by a guy named "Something Motor?" Ours are named after Hiroshi Sato, their inventor. Though, hmmm, I've never seen any of ours getting individual names like 'Gunbike.'

[Korra moves away from the motorcycle, beaming up at Gunmax. She nods.]

Right, rations, got it. Thanks, and can you thank McCrane for me too?

[Deckerd slides off the bike after Gunmax. Yeah he was totally riding ~~bitch~~ in the back. Whatever, he has all the dignity of a lion, okay. He smiles tiredly and greets Korra politely.]

I have a few things for you as well.

[He places a small scrap of tarp that he's tied off with a wire.]

Some canned food and water, what I could find of it, anyways.

[Korra eagerly goes down to her knees, taking and examining the food and water. She looks back up to them, beaming.]

This is perfect, thank you!

[Korra frowns, noting his tired smile.]

Y'know, I saw on the phone link thing, Ratchet was offering check-ups to everyone. I think McCrane's already got in touch with him.

I'll be sure to send your thanks to McCrane. No big deal, Korra.

[He pauses, then snorts a little at the mention of Ratchet.]

I think Deckerd's mentioned him before. [Gunmax folds his arms and turns his chin up slightly.] Well, he's not going to beat out Chief, but we'll need the maintenance.

"Chief?" Who's that? [Korra is immediately reminded of Chief Lin Bei Fong.]

--Oh. Er.

It's... what I call Toudou. Force of habit.

Oh, your dad, right? Or, you said he was sorta like your dad, right?

[At hearing that, Deckerd can't help the very amused smile that creeps onto his faceplates and a gentle, sidelong glance at Gunmax.]

That sounds accurate.

[There's one fortunate thing about being a robot: you can't blush. Flustered, Gunmax stammers for a moment, glancing over his shoulder at Deckerd before he huffs a bit.]

I'm going inside to check out the temple! McCrane wanted to get a good idea of what the placed looked like.

[Frazzled, Gunmax heads inside.]

[Excuse Korra being oblivious.]

Have you seen the arena? I mean, I haven't been there yet, and I think it's an arena...I've just seen it from one of the floors of the towers.

[Korra follows Gunmax. Turns to look at Deckerd over her shoulder.] Coming, Deckerd?

[Excuse him chucking into his hand before Korra calls to him.]

Ah-! Yes. Coming right along.

[And so he follows.]

An arena you say? For what, though?

(OOC: Whatever works for you, I just know I did like posting order before when nella and ladyofdragons had that set up, but we could just tag each other whenever?)

For fighting, I'm guessing, but I haven't seen any fights from there...part of why I want to get a closer look at it sometime.

Training or something. What little I know about this Megatronus Prime guy, it might suit him.

[Gunmax shrugs.] I don't think Prima's place has an arena, but I haven't really looked at it much either.

[Korra slams an energetic fist into her hand.]

Training would be good. I could use a good spar.... [Even Tenzin wouldn't spar with her in airbending training, no matter how much she pestered him to.]

They seem to be vastly different from each other. We really ought to go check the other temples out...

[Admittedly, he is curious to see Korra's powers first hand.]

[His hand tightens briefly into a fist at the acknowledgement of the two different Primes. He doesn't say anything, though.]

We'll have to sometime, but that's gonna eat up a lot of gas.

Heh, too bad neither one of us can really spar with you, Korra. So sorry.
