So! It's just occurred to me that there are a few human kids hanging around. I dunno about you, but that's a bit disconcerting! This tells me that there could be more hanging around. Unbelieveable, right?

Here's the deal. I'm looking for a kid in particular. Short hair, roughly eleven years old, wears a yellow jacket, and he tends to shout Deckerd's name a lot. Something like DEKKADOOOO or whatever, got it? Especially if you bring up ghosts.

But in other news, I guess I ought to introduce myself. Call me Gunmax. That way if you see me leaving you in the dust, you know who to remember for it.

Tell me about the Decepticons and Autobots. I asked some Autobots about it and they don't seem to have anything nice to say about the Decepticons.

Tricky little hypocrites. I can't say I'm all that surprised. The Autobots derive a special pleasure from convincing ignorant non-combatants to side with them.

Don't worry, baby -- I'm picking my own side. I'm not interested in what little faction war you guys are up to.

But I'd like to learn more, if you'd be willing to tell me.

Although you might want to be careful about calling it a 'little faction war'. This isn't some little international spat like I know your humans get into.

It's sounding like one. So why not educate me otherwise?

Hmph. Well, I suppose it did start as one. It was all political in the beginning-- the Council and the golden elite versus the oppressed low-class labor forces. Easy enough to keep out of, if you kept you head down, and we all thought it would blow over in time.

It didn't. [He purges his vents in a sound that's remarkably like a sigh.] By the time Declaration Day rolled around, the entire planet had become embroiled in the conflict-- and it wasn't just the wealthy against the poor anymore. It was Autobots and Decepticons. Us against them, and Primus help you if you didn't pick a side.

[Does he sound bitter about that? Don't mind him, he'll be moving right along...]

There's not much of a planet left at this point, this particular version that we're standing on notwithstanding, but the factions-- and the war-- persists.

Ahh, revolutions. Not all that different from humans, honestly.

Then I guess the question stands, more clearly: are you guys going to continue that war here? Because I definitely hope not.

...Well. I suppose that's going to depend on how determined the Autobots are to pursue hostilities, hm?

Guess so. I'm not interested in this sparking up a fight, so we'll see what happens.
