So! It's just occurred to me that there are a few human kids hanging around. I dunno about you, but that's a bit disconcerting! This tells me that there could be more hanging around. Unbelieveable, right?

Here's the deal. I'm looking for a kid in particular. Short hair, roughly eleven years old, wears a yellow jacket, and he tends to shout Deckerd's name a lot. Something like DEKKADOOOO or whatever, got it? Especially if you bring up ghosts.

...Boss, if you're out there, we're looking for you, all right? We have our badges, so call us. You'll worry Deckerd sick, okay?

But in other news, I guess I ought to introduce myself. Call me Gunmax. That way if you see me leaving you in the dust, you know who to remember for it.

It has been strange to be among so many other robots, though. [Just the idea of being mistaken for somebody else is odd.] We are no longer unique.

It's odd, but I don't think it diminishes our uniqueness. I'm still trying to figure out this faction business.

[He's not had anyone specifically cite a faction to him, yet.]

Yeah, these Cybertroni...ah... Dang it, even I'm having a hard time pronouncing it. They have factions. That seem odd to you?

Cybertons and Destrons. You couldn't ask me what the difference is.

I was aware there was a war, but I haven't learned much about it other than how destructive it was.

[And how he was never going to allow Cybertronians back to Earth. Seriously, how do you ruin a planet twice?]

As long as they do not continue the conflict here, I don't suspect there is a difference.

Yeah, I'm concerned about them continuing their little turf war here. I spoke to a few of them. Surprise surprise, Cybertrons have nothing good to say about Destrons, Destrons have nothing good to say about Cybertrons.

I'm not really impressed.

It is as problematic as international relations.

We may be needed to patrol, if it comes to that. Just to keep the peace.

One of them indicated that the war has lasted several million years. [He can't even imagine fighting for that long. Didn't your parts wear out, eventually?]

Eh? Million years?! How the heck do you carry a war on that long, human or robot? That's... that's--

It is. I think they live for many millions of years, so maybe it seems shorter to them.

[He doubts it, though.]

Hmph, a year is a year! That doesn't change anything. It just makes the prospect of a war lasting that long ridiculous.

Acting all shocked that we were made on Earth. I think we're better for it.

[mccrane]

I wonder if they had any choice in it.

[Though...he agrees. He can't imagine staying angry enough about something to fight for so long.]

There are definitely advantages. We've been fortunate to not be involved in any wars.

There's always a choice.

[Call it an uninformed opinion, but he just doesn't see any way how they wouldn't have the opportunity to decide.]

Lucky us, eh? Hope it stays that way at this rate...

We would not have much choice if the Boss was being threatened. We would act.

[He doesn't like considering that point of view, but he knows there are two sides to every story.]

We are the Brave Police--I am confident we will find some way to keep the peace here, until we return home.

...That's different. That's not about war.

[But there's a part of him that knows McCrane is right. No, they wouldn't have a choice. They would immediately know what they had to do in order to keep Yuuta safe.]

If our planet was attacked, it would be.

[And some Cybertronians have made it clear that something similar already had occurred, in their universes.]

At least...

At least we would all be on the same side.

Then it is not so bad.

We will just work to end any wars as fast as we can.

I believe we'll beat the Cybertronian record, no matter what we do.
