[Hey Cybertron did you miss Four's random need to ask questions? Because surprise, surprise! He has one. Luckily for you it's a reasonably short one.]

If you had the opportunity to teach something you've learned in your life, what would it be?

[This may or may not be connected to the post by Megatron a short while ago, it's hard to be sure. Still, it's something Four's been thinking about for the last little while. What does he have to offer when it comes to teaching? Isn't teaching supposed to be part of his purpose? It's so hard to tell.]

Also is there anyone here who specializes in creating weapons?

Everything I could. Everything they were willing to learn. Knowledge is important. Everyone should strive to learn as much as possible. Constantly learning every day of our lives. Never done.

I agree! Learning is my purpose. But what specifically would you teach if you had the chance? You're a Professor right? Are you a scientist of some kind?

Yes. Geneticist. Doctor as well. Could teach many things. Qualified in several areas. Would like to teach. Never tried it before. Could be a good experience. Nice change of pace from usual way of life.

The study of genetics isn't that well explored in my time. If anything, I think the area is only starting to see real breakthroughs. It would be interesting to learn about them! What other areas are you qualified in? How come you've never considered teaching before?

Was apart of a special task force. Handled sensitive cases. Not solely a scientist. Also a fighter. Skilled at what I do. Never had time to teach before.

Qualified in most scientific areas, at least to some extent.

Indeed. Common for Salarians. Short lifespans mean we make the most of the time we have. Do multiple things. Specialize in multiple areas.

I'd teach them to figure it out themselves. I'm not here to hold anyone's hand.

What do you mean? That they should figure out what you have to teach? Or maybe to figure out about life in general? To teach them how to survive by not teaching at all?

People learn faster when they do things themselves. You're not always going to have someone standing around to give you the answers whenever you need them. So yes, they should get used to it.

[It's funny because she totally doesn't believe this 100%. She was perfectly willing to help teach Kay how to catch her bird.]

That's not a philosophy most teachers use. I can't say it works when teaching others about history or biomechanics.

Do I look like a professor to you?

Why do you need a weapon?

For... personal reasons. Are you capable of creating weapons?

Are you in danger? Do you need some help?

N-no. I can't create things for others.

I just want to do something on my own for once. But I'm not designed to create weapons. ... May I ask about your eyes? You don't seem to have irises, but you can obviously read just fine...

And what do you need?

I wouldn't say I specialize but I've done it before. I mean, I can fix weapons systems pretty well, but I've only ever actually built one gun. It's a really great gun, though.

I don't know if I would be a really great teacher, either. One time my friend Gai asked me about the ship's propulsion systems, and even though he seemed to enjoy hearing me talk about it, he didn't really learn anything. In fact, he tried to stick his hand into something super dangerous about a second after I told him about how dangerous it was.

It sounds as if your friend is rather foolish. But I'm not one to judge others for poking things that shouldn't be poked.

Oh, wow yeah, that seems like a problem to me. I mean, hopefully your First Forged has got your back, right? But everyone should be able to defend themselves.

You have any ideas of what you might want? I could see what I can rig up out of the junk pile for you?

Teach something, huh? I'd be happy to share my medical knowledge with the right people. But I'm pretty sure I'd make a good example of what not to do in certain relationships. [BITTERBITTER]

... I'm assumin' you need a weapon just in case those monsters come back? I could use one, too. My tricorder ain't much of a phaser.

There don't seem to be a lot of organic doctors here, so your medical knowledge would be very valuable! Though I don't understand what teaching has to do with relationships... Having a weapon compatible with me would be... wise.

Yeah, but you'll need to find somethin' your size that also packs a punch.

I have no issues with teaching swordplay, but I prefer to teach them from the very basics as to ensure they develop the right habits.

That's a wise strategy to use when teaching someone! I wish I could learn swordplay, but I imagine I'm far too small for it.

For someone smaller, you may feel more comfortable with a dagger. You can take advantage of your own size and potential speed with a smaller blade.

[ Saber nods once. Daggers aren't to her liking personally, however, the only reason she can use such large blades is due to years of training and the fact they had chosen her. ]
