[Cody has to sit down and think for a few moments. His first initial reaction to having everything explained to him is a strange mixture of excitement and dread. On the one hand, he's on Cybertron! He never in his life believed that he'd be able to see it. On the other, he's very, very far away from his friends and family. He'll manage of course, but he thinks that he'd be a lot happier of there were familiar faces around.

But now he gets the chance to talk to more Cybertronians! From different dimensions no less. Despite the deep pang of homesickness, he's eager to embrace this opportunity while he can. He picks up the communications device, takes a deep breath, and turns it on.]

Does anyone know bots by the names of Heatwave, Chase, Boulder, or Blades?

Also I'm curious... is there a rescue force of some kind here? You know, for fire, police, medical, and other kinds of emergencies? Are there any places I can get food and water without having to go look through the junkpile?

We get that a lot. First thing you got to know about krogan: we're a warrior species. We're built to fight. Everything grows back on us, everything.

So you're like a reptile species?

[Wait is asking that rude? Cody doesn't have a lot of experience in talking to different kinds of aliens. Robots are one thing...]

Who do you fight? Do you have some kind of enemy?

[Wrex just rolls his eyebrows. At this point he's used to it, annoying as it is.]

If you want to put it that way. Cept we don't laze around like the lizards of our world.

Depends. A few centuries ago we were fighting giant bugs threatening the galaxy. But now we're just fighting each other and anything else for a few credits.

[Kid asks a lot, don't he?]

Why are you fighting each other?

[For a moment it seems like a really weird thing to do. Then Cody remembers that humans have wars all the time, he's not sure why he's so surprised that other species do it.]

I mean, are you in the middle of a war of some kind?

Like I said, we like fighting. Most of my kind is too stupid to focus on anything and try to fix the problem.

Would need to be someone tough enough to deal with years of bad ideas and bad blood.

Why don't you do it? You seem pretty tough.

Isn't a matter of a being tough. Getting them to listen is the hard part.
