[Cody has to sit down and think for a few moments. His first initial reaction to having everything explained to him is a strange mixture of excitement and dread. On the one hand, he's on Cybertron! He never in his life believed that he'd be able to see it. On the other, he's very, very far away from his friends and family. He'll manage of course, but he thinks that he'd be a lot happier of there were familiar faces around.

But now he gets the chance to talk to more Cybertronians! From different dimensions no less. Despite the deep pang of homesickness, he's eager to embrace this opportunity while he can. He picks up the communications device, takes a deep breath, and turns it on.]

Does anyone know bots by the names of Heatwave, Chase, Boulder, or Blades?

Also I'm curious... is there a rescue force of some kind here? You know, for fire, police, medical, and other kinds of emergencies? Are there any places I can get food and water without having to go look through the junkpile?

How many other humans are there?

I'm not hurt. I'm alone as far as I can tell, and it doesn't look like anyone I know is here. It's really nothing to worry about Mr. McCoy, I'll be okay! I kinda wish my dad was here though.

Well, Cody, I think we need to find you someone to room with. Or at least someone to help you out in case there's trouble. And while I'm more than willin' to do so, I mean one of these giant robots, too. We got ourselves a huge centipede infestation not long ago. Don't think it'd be wise to go out and about without [parental guidance] someone to help you out.

And [sigh] unfortunately, there's only myself and a young woman named Vandal servin' as doctors treating humans. Dunno if you've met her yet. But you come to me if ya need help or, well, just anythin', all right? [BIG PATERNAL LOOK]

[Cody honestly doesn't really like the idea of living on his own. Sure, he can probably do it just fine, but he likes having people around to create a sort of background noise. He considers it carefully.]

I think I'll be spending a lot of time down at the police headquarters, so I don't think I'll be alone too much....

Well, on one hand, you should get adequate protection from the police. On the other hand, you may have a run in with some unsavory folks. [worryfret] But, if you don't mind, I'd like to swing by once in a while. I'm relatively new to this place, too.
