[Knowing that some of his teammates were here had been a big relief for Mordin, though honestly even if he had been alone he would have managed considering he thought this was the afterlife or whatever it was one wanted to call it. (He still wasn't completely convinced he wasn't dead but he'd keep those theories to himself and maybe Shepard.)

He'd found the temple of his 'firstforged' quite interesting and had been exploring it a lot, the dance thing that had occurred nothing something he was all that interested in at all.

And, of course, now he had a lot of questions. Especially about Cybertronians.]

Would like to know more about the larger inhabitants of this place. Robotic in nature but almost organic in the way they act. Curious. Much different from the Geth back home.

[Seated in his room, the scientist is going over something on his omni-tool, the comm device resting on his desk.]

Of course. Warm blooded amphibious creatures. Come from another planet, not Earth. Shorter lifespans than most. Only forty years. Only sleep an hour a day though.

I can tell. Creatures made of metal, humans able to talk our language, warm blooded amphibious persons -no offense-... I must admit I am still somewhat persuaded everything is a dream and that I will wake up soon at my mate's side.

Forty years? Still longer than ours. We rarely live more than fifteen years. Well, given we manage to survive hunger and weather until then. We need more sleep though. [Yes, like every feline, Shira can sleep 18 hours a day if she can eat enough. Which is not the case here.]

Unfortunately, I don't know what a "planet" is.

Died in my universe prior to waking here. Fairly certain this is some sort of afterlife in my case. Still attempting to figure it out.

Lifespans unfortunate thing for many species. What matters is what you do with the time you have.

Planets are what we inhabit. Many of them. Thousands depending on how you view it all. On Cybertron now. Home of metal beings. Not Earth nor any other planet I've seen before.

It can't be afterlife for me. I am sure it can't be. [Not sure if she is trying to convince you, or herself.] I just found a herd! And a mate!

What we inhabit? You mean, the ground? The soil? I don't understand. [Shira is intelligent, but science is clearly not the priority in the Ice Age...]

Indeed. Sacrificed life to ensure that another species would be able to once more reproduce and thrive. Had to cure a disease I helped create. Only way.

Yes. Everything around us is apart of the planet. Planet is in turn apart of a solar system. Many planets and stars.

Sacrifice, hm? I know that too. Except I didn't die, fortunately. But that... Lambda took me in an unfortunate time. I had finally found a family.

If one day you are... unoccupied, I wouldn't mind learning more about those "solar systems" and everything. I never heard about that.
