A little, I think. I don't really know what Master Xehanort looked like when he was younger, but he doesn't have anymore hair, and even Master Eraqus is starting to get a little gray in his black hair.

Master Xehanort is your father? Or it's Master Eraqus?

O-oh no. Neither of them. They're both Keyblade Masters.

[raceme]

A Keyblade is that weapon you used when we where exploring the ship, correct?

[happyduckbutt]

Yeah, that's right.

[raceme]

And what do you do with in, in your world. I mean...it's a weapon or something more?

[happyduckbutt]

Yep! Mainly a weapon, but we can unlock almost anything with it too.

[raceme]

But...it's giant. It can't fit in many places?

[happyduckbutt]

Oh! It doesn't have to! I just sort of...point it and then it does the trick. Or for things like chests, sometimes I can just tap it against the top and they'll open too.

Ohhhhhhh OKAY that's very useful. Maybe you should bring that thing to the junkpile more often to see if you fin something interesting there. Only you can use it?

I bring it with me pretty much everywhere, so that won't be a problem.

[Nod.] Yeah. I don't think it'll work for anyone who isn't chosen by a keyblade.

Actually, I don't know. I can't remember how I became chosen.

No, it's not that. I just can't remember much of my past. I remember being brought to the Land of Departure, where I met Master Eraqus and Aqua and Terra. Anything before that...

The Land of Departure...that's quite the name. Do you remember your creators at least? [Your parents, he means.]

[There's a blink at that as he takes a moment to figure what Blurr's asking him. Slowly he shakes his head again.]

...no, I can't say I do.

Ah, it's okay. I...don't really feel bad about it. I haven't let myself focus too much on what I can't remember.

If it's of any consolation, my kind doesn't have parents either. Not in the traditional sense at least.

How does that work for you, then?

My kind don't worry too much about those things, actually. Probably that's why friends and teammates are so important to us.

[happyduckbutt]

I see.

...I guess right now, that's kind of how things have been with me. I never really worried too much about what I couldn't remember because I had friends that were with me, and no matter what happens, I know that we can get through anything.

...even...if they aren't here with me right now.
