[The broadcast starts out playful enough, from the inside of Blurr's cab as he is driving home through the junkyard. The view looks backward, where some distance away a second object is trying to keep up.]

Hm? Someone thinks they can outrun me in a race? [Blurr sounds amused; he hasn’t had a proper race in some time.] All you had to do was ask! Who is this?

[Except the object has disappeared.]

...not a race, Blurr...

[The voice sounds like Skids's voice, but not. Whatever it is, it causes Blurr to slow down for a moment in recognition.]

Ski--

[He's cut off as something slams into the side of his cab. The camera goes wild for a moment as first Blurr is bowled over and then starts to transform, metal scraping over metal while oddly alien noises howl and screech in the background. There's a brief flash of something blue and Skids-shaped, but there's also tentacles lashing and a sudden jolt in vision as Blurr starts to leaps out of the way and is snagged.]

Skids, whatareyou--!?

[Then, the video goes to static.]

[A moment later, it returns, some distance away from where it last cut out. The Skids-creature can be seen far off, and moving further away on some other quest.]

[The camera holds on this for a moment, before it is shakily swung around and the video goes black again. The sound is still on and Blurr’s shaky voice can be heard. The last time he asked for help using the comm. link Starscream tried to take advantage and kill him. Blurr’s not so inclined to ask for help right now, besides, there’s more pressing issues that need to be taken care off first.]

I r-require everyone’s attention. Something happened to Skids. I think he is..I…I’m not sure. He looked like that a creature he described to me once, a spark eater.

He’s dangerous.

[And that’s all he’s going to say for now, talking would be easier if the world stopped spinning]

[Locked to Saber/ video]

[The video goes on, this time to reveal the face of a human male with bright blue eyes, despite that the transmission clearly claims to still originate from Blurr.]

I think.

I think I'm going to need some help.

[ooc: All of Blurr's replies will come an hour later once he's at Vector's, fully dressed. Feel free to visit him :3]

You're gonna have to learn to live in that body until it gets fixed, how's that useless? [Even if he understands the point, he's going to play a bit of a hypocrite to (try and) make sure Blurr doesn't end up doing something stupid.]

Yeah, I know. [Cliffjumper shrugs again, folding his arms over his chestplates.] I'm kinda surprised humans have survived for as fraggin' long as they have.

[Which... isn't really that long, from their point of view, but you got to give them that it's long from the humans'. And then he just, looks away briefly, which would probably look more guilty if he could keep his expression straight.]

Can't help it. Gotta do what needs to be done, and then, uh... Well, I can't just sit on my aft and not help. [And there's usually not time for planning!]
cliffjumper: (listening - still strange)

Well... don't go punchin' any walls. [He shouldn't smirk, but he does, looking back at Blurr with a shrug.] I'd try to help, because I know the human body's pretty cool with the limits its got, but well. It's gonna look pretty slaggin' weak compared to what you're used to be able to do.

[It was an unfortunate fact. And what do you mean he's not fooling anyone, he's the picture of well-meaning innocense!!]

Think you've got a bit of code like that yourself. [Then Cliffjumper shrugs again.] I just like doin', no matter what it is... Other people can plan.

[Not that he can't plan or be careful, but, well.]

Well, ya never know. [Ahem. Then he grimaces slightly.] Yeah, they ain't the fastest organics around. But you should still get some speed.

[Just... nowhere near the speed even any regular mech could get up to, and definitely not the sort of speeds Blurr would be used to be able to produce. Or with the same sort of stamina.]

Heh, maybe. [Cliffjumper grins right back and shrugs. He's not overly amazing at the social thing either, but it usually works out.] Usually things turn out fine, even without a good plan.

[Excellent.]

Overstep your reach? And yeah, toes. If ya ever see an ape or a monkey up close, their feet look even more like hands.

[Poor Blurr. So much inadequacy in human bodoes.]

Uh-huh, sure does. [The grins grows into a smirk and Cliffjumper shrugs easily.]
cliffjumper: (eh what you say - Sideswipe is wordy)

Animals related to humans. Apes're more closely related to 'em, but monkeys belong to the same family.

[The grimace twists into something like a confused grimace. Not because he doesn't know how it all works, but because the whole thing is rather... creepy, despite a similarity of DNA to, say, derivative code or similar.]

Don't we all. [Huff.]

Uh, well...

[He rubs the back of his helm, and then, after a moment of hesitation, pushes a few keys on the computer on his arm, through which he's using the Link, splitting the image briefly in two to show Blurr an image of a gorilla and a monkey.]

The thing with the tail is a typical monkey, the one without is an ape, and as I can figure it, they genetic information with humans. Sometime in the beginning they came from the came creature or somethin'.

[That's as close as he knows it.]

[He has to bite his lower lip to keep from laughing, but not, of course, because he's joking with Blurr about this.]

No, I ain't! Promise it's true, even if it looks strange.

[He can't help the snigger at Blurr's expression though.]

Truth's stranger than fiction an' all that.

[And there goes a snerk, and then Cliffjumper catches himself and rubs a hand over his mouth.]

Sorry, Blurr, but your expression... And it is true. But don't ask me to elaborate 'cause frankly I don't know much more than that.

It doesn't really make sense to me, even if I sort of get the idea. Maybe.

[A shrug. Human behaviour - at least the greater patterns - are easier to understand that organic evolution.]
cliffjumper: (:> - not planning anything at all)

[No, he won't. Pouting just looks weird, okay. Not that cybertronians can't pout, but it's just something with how the expression turns out on human faces...]

It was funny, is all.

[He smirks and then shrugs.]

Yeah, I know. Believe me, I know.

It does, so thanks. [Have a definitely cheeky grin, Blurr, especially as you're obviously not upset. This is still serious and unpleasant, but some shade of humour helps at least Cliffjumper a little...

Even if he's not one of the one's effected.]

Might be a good idea, the sooner the better... And, uh. If no one else tells ya, don't eat anythin' with white fluffy stuff on it, or something that's got spots that're green.

It ain't edible, okay?

[Mold, yay.]

If you need somethin' I'll try to help.

[Cliffjumper just grins and shrugs at that, not saying anything else for or against it.]

No, not grass. White or green stuff on food, 'cause that means it's gone bad. Apples can be green, though.

No problem.
cliffjumper: (lopsided smile - a master at them)

Basically, yeah. [Cliffjumper's grin is a bit dry as he shakes his helm and then shrugs.]

Good luck... and hopefully this'll be over for ya soon enough.
