[Behold! A new voice on the network. And... it sounds decidedly uncertain. Maybe a little shaky.]

[Hey, when you get electrocuted by thousands of volts out of nowhere before waking up somewhere you've never seen, you're bound to sound a little off. Not to mention completely overwhelmed.]

[And quite honestly, he doesn't know what to say right now. Asking the empty air for help? In a place he's never even heard of? Surrounded by sights and sounds and robots utterly foreign? That seems... odd. But what choice does he have?]

Someone... please. [He hesitates.] I don't understand what's happened.

I --

[And here is where the first bit of real panic seems to show through. Sure, he got the explanation, but--] I don't remember coming here. Or ever hearing of such a place.

Hello.

I really don't know if anyone remembers getting here. Something funky about the way it happens.

I suppose if you don't know about the Autobots or Decepticons before that Cybertron is pretty weird to you, huh? It's okay, most the people here are super nice and friendly.

[Oh, great. Another human being.]

None of these words are familiar to me. Nothing about this is familiar. And I should remember.

"Most"?

[At least she is used to sentient robots.]

Right, well since you are here now... and they don't know a way to send us back, I can tell you a little bit, but I will stick to the important things, okay?

[She takes a moment to consider his statement about remembering.]

I don't know why you don't remember, and I'm sorry you don't, it sounds like something important to you, but maybe over time you will? This place could be affecting your memory without you knowing?

So the Autobots and Decepticons are all from Cybertron, they are a race of thinking, feeling robots. They ended up having a war and split into the two groups. The Autobots fight for freedom for all sentient beings, while the Decepticons just want to take over and control everything. But here most of the Decepticons aren't bothering to do that anymore, and are behaving.

There are some that are still being nasty though, I only know of one myself, his name is Starscream, but there are a few people who call themselves that, and the rest seem okay. But the one to watch out for is all grey with some red, and is super skinny. But he hasn't shown his face yet, just talking, so if you see a face they are probably one of the okay Starscreams.

[Did you get all that?]

I would know if my memory cores were tampered with.

[At least, he hopes so.]

Robots... fighting each other? Why?

[No, he didn't get it all, he was a little too focused on the part about an entire race of robotic beings.]

[And that they fought one another. That's... shocking.]

Huh... well, sorry I can't give you an answer for that.

[She honestly looks apologetic, after all she has dealt with memories issues and bots before.]

All I understood of why they were fighting was cause the leader of the Decepticons wanted to change things with violence, and the leader of the Autobots didn't think that was fair. If you ask Ratchet he might tell you more about why, he really didn't give us a lot to go with, but that may be because we are humans, or because we are young.

[And there she goes rambling answers again.]

No one seems to be able to.

[And that's frustrating beyond belief.]

... There are times when violence is the only option for change. Maybe he can tell you wouldn't understand that.

[She gives a small shrug, though it doesn't seem to say too bad, it seems to be more of a 'there you have it' expression.]

I know sometimes violence is needed, I wouldn't mind a world where it's not, but sometimes you can't talk the other person out of it if they want to hurt you, then you have a choice, fight them, or let them hurt you. Personally... I don't want to just let people hurt me because that's what they decided is the right thing to do, so I will fight to defend myself, or the people important to me.

I think he just has a hard time staying as the cold, distant type if he told us something like that. I mean it probably hurts him a lot.

And have you ever had to do that? To fight for yourself?

[He just sort of looks at the feed.]

I wouldn't know. I don't have any idea who you're talking about.

[She pauses a moment before answering, a serious, and somewhat sad, look on her face.]

No, normally Bulkhead is there to save me... but since he's not here... I may have to, I can't expect Wheeljack to always come save me just cause he is Bulkhead's friend.

[She missed Bulkhead, and moments like this really sank in the idea that she may never see him again. Seeming so shake off the melancholy she smiles a little bit at Kagerou.]

Ratchet is a good guy, he is an Autobot medic, and can fix anything, but he likes to act like he isn't all that fond of us humans, when really he cares a lot. He does stuff like that a lot, hiding how he really feels by being grumpy.

Then, are you really in a position to talk about fighting? The rights and wrongs of it?

[Sorry, kid, he's... not socially gifted. He's also pretty pessimistic.]

Medic. The robot who manages the repairs of the others?

Just because I haven't yet doesn't mean that I am okay with just giving up and not fighting. And there is nothing wrong with fighting to protect myself, I want to live and should have every right to protect myself.

[She is probably at least equally stubborn as he is pessimistic, if not more.]

Yeah, he fixes others when they get hurt or sick.
