[HE'LL JUST BE STANDING HERE... outside the building thing.]

[ Perceptor rolls up in alt-mode a little while later, transforming as he approaches. He wasn't sure what to expect, considering they'd been on an audio-only feed, but at least Kagerou is pretty obviously a giant robot. Kind of narrows things down a little. ]

Kagerou?

[He's about seventeen feet tall, looking like he stepped out of a samurai's anachronistic wet dream. ... he also is probably the only one looking very unsure of all this nonsense.]

[He looks over at his name, though.]

Yes? [a beat.] Perceptor?

[MONOCLE BUDDY?]

[ ~~MONOCLE BUDDY~~ Ah, good. He has the right one then. ]

[ He offers a hand. ]

It's a pleasure.

[He just. Stares at the offered hand. Then at Perceptor. And back to the hand.]

[He sticks out his own, copying him. He is Japanese and what is this.]

Everyone keeps saying that. Do you mean it?

[ Perceptor hesitates for a moment, then takes Kagerou's hand and slowly shakes it. ]

Of course I do. Why wouldn't I?

[He stares down at their hands, awkwardly shaking back. Well, if that's what you do...]

I don't know. It just seems strange to say, I guess.

[Did we mention his social skills are supremely lacking?]

[ Well this is certainly the most awkward handshake of Perceptor's life. He gives Kagerou's hand two careful pumps, then releases. ]

It's a greeting generally reserved for genuine enthusiasm over meeting.

Can you grant me access to your systems?

[He looks very relieved when the handshake ends. At least now he doesn't feel like an idiot.]

And you are? Enthusiastic about meeting me?

[He nods, and... looks around.]

[ Kagerou's next question catches him a bit off-guard. ]

[ Perceptor produces a datapad, the simplest form of file sharing he can think of, and offers it to Kagerou. ]

[He... genuinely wants to know the answer to that question. Why is everyone so happy to met him?]

[He takes it, but. Just kind of stares at it. Sort of like the look old people get when you hand them an iPad and say it's a tablet or something.]
