All right, I won't ask the obvious. I can guess well enough what's happened - the widespread metamorphoses finally caught up with me. I do have one question, though.

[He lifts a four-digit paw, studying the long, curving, ultra-sharp talons - a thick, muscular tail thumping in irritation on the ground behind him - before he turns back to the camera.]

Can someone tell me what in the smelting fires of the Pit this body is supposed to be? It seems confused between an bird and a . . . I think a cat of some sort. [grumbles] And I want my wings back. My wings, not these...filament-covered...appendages. [Said "appendages" ruffle and flutter in reaction.]

First-forged, with all due respect, I hope an answer to all this nonsense is coming. Soon.

[He reaches to turn off his comm, but . . . long talons are ill-equiped to press buttons without either slipping off to either side between keys or scratching and trying to poke through the target key. Finally, though, he manages.]

I seen pictures of a creature like you in the books at Jordan College. Ain't a real animal though. At least I didn think they were.

[Collecting himself, Skywarp does feel sort of unsettled by the fact that Thundercracker has changed. At least he otherwise seem to be himself.]

A lion. And an eagle. That's an, uh... [He squints, and then shrugs. Sure, he's been over fifteen years on Earth, but he doesn't pay attention to all stupid human stuff.]

You are certainly not a dragon. At least not like any I have seen.

[He peers more closely at the feed.]

[He's not making a particular effort at politeness at the moment, though he's not being deliberately short or rude either, at least.]

Wouldn't be surprised, considering a mechanoid shouldn't be able to change into an organic to begin with. [He snorts.] Figures I'd get changed into something that doesn't even exist.

[He peers more closely at the feed.]

Griffon. A griffon, apparently, from what others are saying. Eagle, huh? [He turns his head to look at one wing, experimentally flapping both.] I guess that makes sense, in a roundabout way. My Earth-alt is an F-15 Eagle American jet fighter.

And slow nothing. Try fragging groundbound! I get that these are wings - [The wings flap again, more forcefully this time.] - but how the frag do I make them work? I don't even know if they can work, if this whole creature isn't even a real one.

[His voice had started to raise and he catches himself with a soft growl, clamping down on his reactions. He's trying not to panic, but . . . he can't fly. He CAN'T FLY!]

[Didn't know a griffon could grimace like that, didja? He flaps the wings again, experimentally, not at all sure they'd carry him – or how to even make them work properly. Then, the video comes on and he frowns.]

[Yeah, he knows Skywarp's pretty much immune to The Look by now. Doesn't stop him from giving them, though. And yeah, that reminds him that he still needs to sit down with his not!wingmate one of these days and trade stories and experiences, see where they're similar and different.]

[The last gets a wary grimace.] So long as you intend to catch me from hitting the ground until I figure these things out. I'm sure this body will splat like any other organic if it falls from too high. That's an experience I really don't care to have.
