Energon refers to the substance we all use, universally, as fuel. Energy in a solid, or liquid form, to put it succinctly. Typically, the substance is naturally occurring, though, in my reality, as in several others, it has been used to the point of nonexistence.

... Hence the need for a useable synthetic form.

Creature, I believe. From what I've been told, it's a military creature, used in one version of Cybertron as a weapon of sorts.

I wouldn't object, honestly. Though, I'm uncertain as to how energon would react with an organic system... Prior to my arrival here, I had never seen anything truly organic in nature. It's entirely likely exposure to the substance would be toxic to you. [He shrugs.] However, it's also entirely likely nothing will happen at all.

Apparently, it's the property of one of the Shockwaves currently present in the Haven.

Only way to find out is to try. Wouldn't be the first time I was exposed to hazardous substances. Landed on quite a few planets where the air was toxic. Not pleasant, but work had to be done. Can manage either way.

A pet. Interesting.

Before we begin anything, it may be best to ensure there are medical facilities here capable of assisting someone of your species, just in case it does prove to be toxic. Precautionary measures, of course, but, one must do what one must do.

I would imagine it being rather traumatic, being used as a shock force, yes. Though, I'll hazard a guess those in your universe weren't made of metal.

No, no, these ones were all organic. Though some individuals we came across were fused with metal. Horrible experiments. Not fond of them myself, even if the results were interesting to some extent.

Reasons why I prefer my subjects to be... nonliving... in nature. Physical sciences, barring those involving medicine and physiology.

Generally, yes. Many more paths to take with nonliving specimens. More creative freedom. Allows for more trial and error.

Prefer not to do as some have done and use trial and error on the living. Not a fan.
