[(Accidental) Video] :: Location - Vector Prime's Temple

[The image that's transmitted fades in and out at first, interrupted by lines of static. Something vaguely seems to be moving just in front of whatever the video source is, but it's extremely blurry as though the feed receiver itself is out of focus. It isn't long before that starts to adjust, and soon enough one can see the looming face of the Acolyte.

There's an electronic squawk in surprise, and the screen shifts, just as some sort of thin metal arm with a slightly pointed tip pops out from somewhere around the camera source. Electricity sparks from its tip as its jabbed towards the Acolyte's face, sending the large figure reeling back, more out of shock than actual harm.

Amidst a flurry of confused and slightly indignant beeps and twittering, the transmitted image continues to move, shifting to a more upright position before moving forward.

There's a simulated scream as whoever it is seems to find out the hard way that it's been placed on some sort of pedestal. Which is pre-tty high up.

It's a lovely first-person view of the ground coming to meet you, and a metallic, somewhat hollow sounding thud follows once the ground is hit, effectively blacking out the screen. Apparently it's still on though, a faint warble sounding, as well as the footfalls of the Acolyte's approach. Aaaand cut.]

Cybertron. It is apparently a very early version of Cybertron, earlier than ones others here may know. [ A curt, but polite nod. ]

It is for some. There are many that come from many differing versions of Cybertron throughout many timelines. Not all of us are from Cybertron, however. We have all been brought here from varying realities. [ Another confirming nod. ]

No, we have all arrived here by the Lambda.. some type of.. black hole, I believe. We are then brought to our prospective temple by the Acolytes. On your body, somewhere, you should have a glyph. This is a sign that you are linked to a FirstForged and you would have been brought to their specific temple. This glyph also keeps you from going mad due to outside influence. [ Saber really needs to learn how to space out her explanations and not be so blunt, as it can be overwhelming. However, this.. gentleman? seems quite fine with her speed of explanations. ]

Correct, there's no way to return. Many have tried and I believe a few have even flown around the planet and even then found there was nothing around.

[ Another curt nod. Although this robot is skeptical, perhaps, he's not asking silly questions while she's attempting to explain what was and still sometimes is confusing to her. ]

The FirstForged are.. Cybertronians that are in charge here. To me, they seem god-like. I've been told they are not, but they are extremely awe-worthy. And the outside influence your glyph protects you from is Unicron's, who is a type of dark god for this planet. Those who go into the Badlands due to "the Call" of Unicron never return.

[ A pause. Saber is very interested in this robot by now, and keeps peering at it quite closely. ] Ah. Forgive me.. R2-D2? [ The knight sounds it out a bit awkwardly. ] I'm called Saber.

[That's...not pleasant news, and it receives a forlorn hoot. So he's stuck then? Well. That's just great.]

[He's not sure how such a power could work that way on both organic and inorganic alike. Not unless it's something like the Force, maybe...]

This influence can affect anyone. I believe this is proven by the fact you also have a glyph to protect you from it. [ A nod and soft smile as the 'bot asks about her name. ] Yes, as in the sword. I am a sword user and Saber became my title due to my experience with the blade.

..Although it is definitely a sword and has properties of light, I can not say it is a "lightsaber". [ That, however, sounds interesting. ] This world is quite confusing. Do not be afraid to use the resources of the Link to gather information while you are still adjusting.
