–dear. This doesn't look right at all.
[The perspective shifts from the skewed angle of the temple to a shiny, gold-plated head. The pair of eyes shine brightly as they look at nothing in particular, the politeness in C-3PO's voice coming in clearer now. It barely wavers as he continues prattling on.]
Oh no. I'm certain I was never deactivated within the past few minutes! This hallway seems to have changed. [He sighs, shaking his head.] And everything was going so well– wait a minute. [He looks up.] Artoo? Artoo, where did you go?
[Taking a look around, he has failed to notice the Acolyte that approaches him.]
You can't have disappeared on me. You don't even move that fast. I knew I couldn't count on you for anything.
[In the middle of this, he realizes he still has the comlink in his other hand. Again the angle shifts, now giving a perspective of the droid's upper body.]
Master Luke? Oh! I forgot I turned it off. [Click.] Master Luke? Are you there, sir? Sir?

Oh, good. [She could give it, but it's easier if the Acolytes are actually listened to.]
If we're all lucky, no time will have passed between the moment any of us left our realities to when we hopefully return... So if he's in trouble, it should be all right.
[It's... simpler to hold onto that than imagining things going on without. Especially as there's been some implications that they're all taken from different times, even if from the same reality.]
Give him some credit. His composure has returned a little faster than usual. But news of this lets Threepio relax some.]
Oh. Oh, I hope so. I appear to have left during a very pivotal moment and it would be terrible if Artoo and I have missed any calls since then.
Yes. And I am certainly hoping so as well, even if I didn't leave an emergency behind, but I know others who've left... sensitive situations.
So I hope this... Luke? will be all right.
Any questions not answered by the explanation from the Acolyte?
Yes. I suppose I will have to try and believe that for the time being.
He was rather brief, but it was concise enough to process. Cybertron is not a planet or a system I am familiar with at all, so my guess is as good as any in terms of thinking this is very far from home if it concerns rifts in reality and whatnot. But what do they mean by before Cybertron has awakened?
Simple enough. You're familiar with human or alien ideas of deities? Cybertron is, or will be in this case, the physical vessel for our creator, Primus, a god of light and creation.
[She gestures around herself, even if that's a very limited area to include, she does mean the rest of the planet as well.]
The Firstforged are preparing Cybertron for Primus' arrival.
[How many protocols are there for dealing with religious beliefs... or perhaps rather facts?]
[It would have been sad if he wasn't programmed with that in mind. However, there's always room for learning, and this just interests him.]
A physical vessel for a deity that still has yet to come. My goodness. Are we interfering?
The rift we come through is created by an entity a lot more malevolent, and without the glyphs we would be little more than insane monsters trying to rip this place apart.
We've had non-glyphed creatures and people both come through, and in the latter case... they all went insane and attempted to attack us.
[She frowns, shifting on her feet. It wasn't a very pleasant situation.]
Thank the maker we're nothing like that, then. I can't even begin to imagine how horrible that would be.
[A pause.]
Is something the matter?
[The frown deepens for a moment and then she shakes her helm slowly.]
It was an unpleasant few weeks.
Anything else you'd like to know?
Well...I would like to know more about the Firstforged, if that is all right with you. If they are preparing for Primus' arrival, would that make them the mediator in this circumstance?
Grim, boring information.]
More or less, yes. They're, as I understand it, helping along Cybertron's processes, as well as shaping things on their own. The planet is, or should be, completely mechanical. There's a spot in Alpha Trion's quadrant that has organic soil, a garden, and a lake with water, but there's not much else organic besides that.
[She drums the fingers on one hand against her arm as she thinks.]
There's thirteen, but only seven are involved with taking Refugees under their protection. They're Primus' first children in this reality, and while I can't precisely remember how many were among the first in my own reality, I know there was at least one.
[Thirteen Fistforged? He straightens up.]
My word. I suppose seven is considered a 'luckier' number than thirteen to certain species, superstitions and all. And we're lucky enough to have them reach out to us.
However, I may be too use to the idea that everything on a planet is mostly organic material. The mechanical aspect sounds more like a space station than a planet.
[She tilts her helm at that information, and shrugs.]
I don't know about lucky or unlucky, though it's interesting nonetheless, but yes. Since without the glyphs we'd be out of luck.
[She grins briefly at that and then sobers up, though still somewhat amused.]
Well, Cybertron can either be stationary around a sun or move in space, I'm rather sure. Mine was knocked out of orbit due to the war that was going on.
[Yes, that's exactly as strange as it sounds.]
And while I've gotten used to organic planets, they still seem odd to me. I assume your creator's an organic species, then?
Knocked out of orbit? Oh my! I do hope we don't go through the same thing here.
[Still very concerning, either way. Now he has that stored in his memory forever.]
I believe so. It was a very long time ago, you see, and I can only assume it was. I mean, as possible as it is for machines to work on other machines, I highly doubt that is how I came to be.
[...And other things, like this, he has completely forgotten.]
[But yes, having that happen had been... strange and unsettling. No sun where there before had been two.]
And organics are the majority or dominant species where you come from, aren't they?
[Because indeed it's very easy for machines to build machines, but you'd need a mechanoid species around first to do that.]
But yes, they are. Various groups of them, even. Of course it means there are more culture and language barriers abound, but that is nothing too difficult to handle.
[His eyes then brighten.]
–My goodness, I had almost forgotten. Pardon my lateness, but I am C-3PO, human-cyborg relations.
You have knowledge of that, then? [She could say programmed, she can guess he might be more of an A.I than anything else, but no need to be rude if he's not, even if 'programming' doesn't necessarily have to be something prescriptive for them.]
It's nice to meet you. I'm Elita One... though. [She tilts her helm.] Didn't you say there were no known mechanical species where you come from, so why "human-cyborg" relations?
[He wouldn't have been terribly offended. Well, maybe just a little, since it's C-3PO, but he is fine with such terms.]
Well, Lady Elita – while there are none I can think of, there are plenty of droids and computers to help run things. I act as a go-between and translator for machine, human, and alien alike.
Ah, well, that does make sense. [She can't quite help the quirk of the upper edge of an optic; she's been called various things since she came here, but that's a new one. Not worth commenting on, further, however.]
Something like a diplomat between very disparate sides. [And, really, she could see the logic and practicality in using an A.I for such a task, even if it might lack some flexibility.]
[Despite being proud of this, he's pretty oblivious to the thoughts placed behind every part.]
You should be aware that we sometimes get attacked... sometimes literally by creatures or individuals who appear here without a glyph, and sometimes by events that simply cause chaos.
We had people changing species recently, for example.
[Yes, no matter how impossible that sounds, Elita is perfectly serious.]
I'll certainly try to be aware of the situation when it arises, then. It wouldn't do to get caught in something as terrible as that.
[He then pauses.]
Did you say – changing species?
[She glances, nearly relfexively, upwards.]
Perhaps we'll have a calmer period, however, giving us a chance to relax and you new arrivals to settle in,
